Arrey Yaar Mera to MAMU ban gaya. Anyways!

I suppose Ninja maybe similar to that of R15 in this department. Even Fi must have some Fuel Management System ..right?

I have posted a reply on that guy's scrapbook. Awaiting a reply ... Here is his ID:--> orkut -

      • @samrath i have found out one clear thing between the fi and carb is that..carb has a choke on the left hand switch...fi doesnt have a choke ! so it is clear now and easy to find when the clear pic comes out!

          • guys....

from where are you igniting the dreams of an FI...? The Baby Ninza doesn't have an FI from Kawasaki and humara Bajaj can do nothing about it.

Now, what's the point with FI? the Ninza250 has a very well tuned set of carbs that do a great job... this is a functional bike and not a gizmo bike a-la ... well u know that and me mentioning the name would only ignite another petrol tank!

what's with the LED tail lamps, digi consoles, FI's, etc when you have a fantastic bike in front of you? trust me, they don't make much of a practical difference to over 99% of us!

            • Ninja 250R does have a Fi version for the European Market.Stricter emission norms of India should very well force Kawa-BAL to bring it in!!

                  • The Ninja 250 thats available in UK is Fuel injected. This is to meet the Euro III emission norms.
Please check Kawasaki Ninja 250R Specifications

The carb version of the bike is available in US, which makes 33 bhp, while the aforementioned UK version only (!!!) 30 horses.

But I guess Fuel injection is the way to go, as US also is getting tougher on emission norms and MPG (miles per gallon, mileage for us), considerations. So I guess we will be getting the UK version.

Only thing is that I hope, Kawasaki has at least a update cycle of 2 years, for the bike, and not the last time around, where it kept the previous verison of Ninja unchanged for 20 years !!!

Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

                    • The R15 sells without a "fat" rear, and its more extravagant than the P220.

Those who want to buy the bike, will go ahead and buy it. Everything we say at this point can only be speculation. People at Bajaj know their target customer. With Yamaha eating into their pie, they cannot screw this up.

                      • Oops .. looks like lots of pple piped me past the post on replying bout the Fuel injection thingy !!

we are told the Bajaj Ninja will come from Thailand, but that doesnt make it easier for us to guess, as the US (carbed) versions also are manufactured in Thailand !!

In another thought though, anyone else remember the Kawasai Balius II ???
Kawasaki made that in 1999 .... it had a inline 4-cyl, 250 cc motor which made 39.4 BHPs !!!!!

Considering India has no power restrictions in the license, maybe just maybe Bajaj can get that engine in the Ninja chassis !!! It might not pass Euro III emission norms though !!!

                          • Hey the ninja that going to hit indian market is 2008 model or 2009? I think its 2008 model. Doesn't look so impressive from coming front look as like R15. Comet GT250R is far more better in looks.

Doesn't the Ninza look wicked from the front and the same lines flow throughout the body? That's a great character to exhibit!

                              • Will the mods kick me out if i precede every alternate post on the thread with a request to Bajaj to de-restrict the 33bhp to something around 40 or so since we don't have a staged licensing system in the country?

Will the mods ban me from the forum if i succeed every alternate post with a request to Bajaj to keep in mind that this has to be their version of ultimate unreigned monstrous 250cc performance bike whose prospective owner doesn't give a damn about Fuel Economy?

Or will the Bajaj guys take notice of just this one post and get back to the drawing/ drawn already board and make the changes?

It would be pitiful if they bought it down stock with that 33bhp and stupid number plate and good fuel economy.

Also, I'm terrified wondering what kind of cost cutting measures Bajaj will implement here.

Oh btw, Rinder makes headlamps for Bajaj as well as Kawasaki.
