Or maybe even a pair of Pilot Power Race for the track.
How much is Yamaha selling the 2CT's for?

I Knew you'd ask me this! I think they sell it for about 18k a pair.

I think it might be more than that. A tyre dealer here told me 18750 for them.

The end to this saga couldn't have come in better fashion, I have passed the Ace to a very enthusiastic and inclined couple.
They have a Comet, and the guy seems to have decent experience on Indian bikes, so he should gradually be perfect with the Thunderace as he already knows most of the basic stuff.
The good part of the sale is that Rahul stays quite around my place, so I would definitely be seeing the Ace on and off.
I really think the Thunderace has made its way into a good home. Farewell my Ace, take care!

Oh man, saw the bike on the classifieds sometime back. Sad to let a bike go. Especially one like the Ace. But on the bright side, you won't be far, and if the Ace doesn't like the new owner, it'll pop over for a steamy affair in the night I'm sure

Its been a rather bumpy ride for me the last few days. Nothing concrete come my way just yet, and i can only hope I do not take as long as i did for my Thunderace.
Tojo, the hunt is on, and I'd prefer a red one that could go well with my gear!

Its been two whole years since I had brought the Thunderace home, and I realised that only a few minutes ago. The evening of 15-01-2007 was a big one.
As luck would have it though, Rahul and I caught up a couple of hours back at Reclamation, and a a couple of other friends came around too.
There it stood below the street lamp, and it looked as good as it always did. Rahul has taken super care of it, and I could not resist a spin. Rahul obliged.
So the Ace and I went around for a reclamation spin, and I felt I was back home. From moment I sat on the bike, for the first few moments it felt like sitting IN a bike compared the the Fireblade, felt different too. Less than a minute, couple of bumps, empty stretch, the nice long reclamation curve and I literally took off, I was reunited for those few minutes.
Came back down the flyover, and I just had to take it for another spin. It was just awesome, and maybe in a couple of days I may just find better words to put down the reuniting experience.
