Could you tell us what is the difference in spec of Diesel and Light Diesel (since we all know what petrol is)? Also, are the prices in INR or PKR?Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

. This thread is heating up, Well Dear superbikez what Mr Payeng wants to say that if there is huge demand of superbikes and supercars in Pakistan then why govt. don't want to allow them to get in, After all it will be lucrative deal for govt. imposing higher duties and taxes and making some real good money.
I am not denying the fact Pakistan don't have any demand for these but the thing here is Every manufacture wants to be in the business and want to sell where the demand is exorbitant and that is something missing. In India we are having almost every manufacturer in line.So thats Indian market

If the above prices are PKR, the INR equivalent would be:
Petrol : INR 49.43/litre
Diesel : INR 53.41/litre
Light Diesel : INR 46.51/litre
Currency conversion courtesy GoogleAdvice is a form of nostalgia.

Why international community now not interested to give any amount to Pakistan because they already said your govt is on the top of corruption you don't have money problem you have corruption problem Pakistan International Airline (failed now), Train (Stop now) everything *** up because of this Govt. We have much better economy than India in 2005 - 2007 check out the stat 7.2 i think now we @ 4 why because of corruption. Our leaders don't have vision for this nation and one more matter is WOT ... debate will be more politically in this issue. In simple our govt have no vision FOR PAKISTAN. Last time i remember few Japaneses official came into Pakistan and even few of them have strong statements regarding motorcycle industry (1000cc 600cc) unfortunately govt not interested to talk nor anything happened they back without any dialog.
Many things now towards corruption and politics that is why these motorcycle and cars brand have nothing for our country. Korean team came into Pakistan in 2006 for best ever plan for electricity guess what happened ?? Deal not finalized just because govt ask for 70% commission...
Man you have no idea about this country lol!
Look Audi allowed in Musharaf Govt. That time even Lamborghini also interested on Lamborghini web site "Pakistan" options available in selection menu at that time. But when this govt was takeover.. Lamborghini dailog was over because Govt asked for $$$$ comission which refused to pay by Lamborghini.
our govt way "LUTOO THAY PHUTOOO"
Today of if we have Suzuki, Yamaha, honda Motorcyle brands in Pakistan we have huge amount of SBKS on our roads
we are suffering because of our foreign policy..
"we have more enemies... you cant even imagine" anyway off topic but simple problem with govt...

Mr. superbikez,
I do know something about Pakistan,
Imports were allowed in Pakistan even in the 1950's-60's when India used to be a closed economy. Honda Civics and Corollas used to ply on Pakistani roads when there were nothing but Ambassadors and Premier Padminis in India.
Honda started its two wheeler business in Pakistan in the mid 1960's as Atlas Honda (first in Asia Pacific) whereas in India it started only in 1984 as Hero Honda.
The Pakistani economy was in a better state than in India till the mid-late 1980's.
But somehow after 1991 when India started to open it's economy and the world discovered India as a IT gold mine, the Indian economy started it's growth story.
Luckily due to the closed economy we had companies like Mahindra, Tata, Bajaj, TVS Motor which got the opportunity to find its feet and then learned fast when the market was opened up and the competition arrived. A few domestic companies like Hindustan Motors, Premier, Kinetic, LML couldn't learn as fast though.

For the complete perspective/situation/picture, I also need to knowOriginally posted by superbikez View PostAgreed and good for India. But Pakistan's perspective i told you "today situation of Pakistan"
1. How are these bikes imported to Pakistan (brand new/second hand/or both)?
2. How much is the import duty that is required to pay for these imports?
3. Do customers try to get around the govt. system and try to import them illegally (like Indians used to till these bikes started to be avilable in India legally and the Govt. crackdown on illegal bikes)?

Govt change its policy after every few months. 1 year before policy was you only import brand new zero meter bike (but only 1 year old)Originally posted by payeng View PostFor the complete perspective/situation/picture, I also need to know
1. How are these bikes imported to Pakistan (brand new/second hand)?
Year half, Govt changed its policy and the new policy in mid of 2011 was you import 3 years old motorcycle either old or new.
Now current policy is you can import only 2 years old motorcycle (i think) new and old both.
5 $ per cc rest of shipment charges, insurance charges, chuta mota tax.Originally posted by payeng View Post
2. How much is the import duty that is required to pay for these imports?
Without inspection by Custom agent you cant able to move your motorcycle or car outside the custom house (port). We have laweless community here in PAkistan "Majority frankly speaking" imports motorcycles with half duty and because of PR they easily out their motorcycles from the port. But custom agencies still looking for them. Chase them waiting for the right time and caught them on the middle of the road that was the only way to do crackdown against those who have powerfull PR.Originally posted by payeng View Post3. Do customers try to get around the govt. system and try to import them illegally (like Indians used to till these bikes started to be avilable in India legally and the Govt. crackdown on illegal bikes)?
Now you cannot use illegal car or a motorcycle on the road. If you will capture by any agency you will send directly to the jail and very strong charges against you to use ILLEGAL vehicle.
Thanks,>> Speed has a Soul >>
