Great decision Atul. I am also of the opinion that the Intruder is one heck of a cruiser. I bought mine in Feb 09 and have ridden it almost 9000 Kms. I also rode harleys to considerable distance in the US and have the same conclusion.. nothing can beat this bull.

Harley's are for the guys who only want to go for the brand in my view and will settle for much less in return.

I love my Intruder.

Just rode with a R1 recently and the bike could keep pace as long as it didnt have to corner.

Completely agree, this is a different animal altogether, while my Harley experience is limited to test drives, the decision was an easy one. Would go on long rides post monsoon and will keep you updated on the experience.
The great Italian roadtrip must be like a dream come true, visited Italy last year and loved evey bit of it. Riding Ducatis on their own home court - My!! This is as close to heaven as you can get alive!!!!

yep black is such a beauty until it is maintained well. even my bike is black and she was so dirty after riding taking her out in rains. she had a paid wash today [

] and now everyone loves her to the core. ( i gotta cover her up

) . all i feel now, wish she washes herself but still it is an enjoyment washing my beautiful 160cc GF

Thanks. Anyways now that the 1st servicing is done, I am pushing it a little bit. Have all the gears in place as u can c in the pictures. Better safe than sorry.

Can you kindly tell how much it cost you for the first servicing.

And also if possible in brief about the servicing.( like how it was done, what were the things they changed etc etc )

I had initially planned to get the servicing done by taking the bike to the dealer in Pune, however due to heavy rains I asked them to do the servicing at my place only n had to pay 1800 bucks extra for the travel.

The servicing consisted of checking electricals, Oil change and a gear oil change. The air filter was in order n so were rest of the parts so it did not require any spares. The oil (gear and engine) cost around 5k and another c.2k for labor. In all close to 8k not counting the travel cost.
