Thanks Rudra, MT01 was one of the bikes that I was seriously interested in, but then Yamaha decided not to sell it anymore.

Train on 2 wheels - Couldn't have described it better. Its fun when you put in the 5th gear at 100 and the bike complains due to low RPM.

hope to bump into you sometime around navi mumbai.

PS: why 97 octane fuel? Is it advised by Suzuki for certain amount of time?
Thanks Satyen, Most welcome Bro, it would be fun to go on a ride together - thank God for Palm Beach and Mumbai Pune highway.

95octane or higher is the recommended fuel as per the manual, so was trying to put it for atleast the 1st thousand kilometers. However, now I have given up on it, Speed is serving me just fine. Arup (another XBHPite) also confirmed that on the levels that we ride, it is not required since the bike would not reach that compression ratio. The dealer also assured that it works well on Speed. So I am taking their word on it.

So 97Octane fuel was just an excuse to go out on a ride on it eh!

Shell Super Available at Airoli (but I guess this pump is being closed now) and available on NH4 until pune should be good with the bike too!

OT : regarding the multi quote, if you want to reply for say 5 people, click on all the 5 + signs in their replies. and then hit reply in the bottom left part. thats it as simple as that. and after the [/QUOTE] thing for each post just hit a enter and type your reply. i guess this would help you. sorry for bad english.

                    Congrats

1783cc equipped Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve digital fuel injection system
240mm of rubber at the rear
Largest engine pistons than any other motorcycle on this planet
Shaft drive for the best possible way of delivering torque
                    350kgs of weight
...and still it doesnt look like a monster. It is so carefully and elegantly designed..I mean, even the side stand is atristically designed.

Atul, mighty congrats for the mighty cruiser. In the times (and place ofcourse) where people are attracted more towards the fully-faired bikes, you have taken a very good decision. You'll definetly enjoy cruising on our roads. I was awestruck when I first saw the bike standing in a showroom in Pune. It was orange in colour and I just couldnt stop drooling at it. I sat on it started it. The thunderous thump transmits straight from the machine to your brain (through your stomach). I am sure it must be making you feel like God.

Arup is a good friend of mine and thus I know one day we will ride together. Lets add little red-white-blue to your black & white combo
Waiting for that day to come soon. Congrats again.
                    To each his own karma!
