You will get used to it bro - I am just 5'6". Or buy some nice heavyduty boots and see if that helps.

I love the color of your bike. I have never seen a blue Intruder. Is this the new offering or am I color blind??

Also your Tachometer is on the headlight just like mine, while for my other friends who have an intruder (2009 model, i think) they have the tachometer on the handle bar separate from the headlight unit.

Very happy to see your bike. while u are far off, hope that we ride together some day. Do share your riding experience on the forum. It would be fun to read from a different rider's perspective
I ride in just 2 weather conditions...
    1.When it rains
    2. When it doesn't

Atul, that was a very emotive piece of writing and it reminded me of my first 500Km on the MT01. The Intruder is vastly more powerful and bigger than the MT01 so you do get your money's worth...don't feel bad about missing out on buying an MT01 because the experience is almost the same.

Honestly I would love to have an Intruder as well just for the way it looks with that MASSIVE rear wheel and tire. Keep in touch over PM if you are looking for a more serious riding experience. I will show you roads you never thought existed in India

Agreed, the rear wheel makes you fall in love with in the first sight for sure. the harleys that i was test riding before I bought this felt so puny in comparison. I am quite interested in serious riding, however, with one constrait, have a terribly demanding job, so while I can be gone for say a weekend and 3 days tops. the 10 -15 days mega rides are a sure no no. Please keep in touch on PM.

hey atul thanks a tone for you advise , but i have a tiny confession to make, the bike is not mine, rather it belongs to my bootlegger , guess privileged customers get preferred treatment !

yup, the color is blue, guess age not yet caught up with you, yet !

as for the year of make i`ll let you know !

currently i ride a 79` std 350 (one in the last pic) but as soon as i get out of my post grad , and make enough greens , we`ll ride together, till then my friend ride safe !

          cheers

Same here...I do mega-rides but very rarely. Most of my rides are Mumbai - Bangalore / Chennai etc.

In fact, to fully enjoy the potential of your new ride, I recommend a ride from Mumbai to Hubli. Stay overnight there at the Hans hotel and ride back the next morning. Amazing roads!

So I was right, and yes, age will eventually catch though I am younger than your bullet
For owning a superbike u need the money and u need the taste, so I guess half the battle is already won, just finish your studies and start printing money and saving. all the best.

                  Inshallah, we will ride together.

Raoul, the superhargers are awesome esp the first one. Its completely out of the world. But sadly all the cash has already been spent on the bike
So no mon no fun. Thanks for sharing though, lets see if I upgrade in a couple of years.

Will sure do, Aditya. I hear that the drive from Mumbai to Bangalore is just amazing. I hope the bank is happy willing to let me go on a riding holiday

i am glad you like them, they look and sound really cool & they are not superchargers but ram air intakes. They are not expensive, about $ 320, that under 14k. I sure u can spend that much for that super cool, exclusive look and amazing sound.
