    JD, i have gone through the Pics of Cylinder kit as well as the Con-Rod assembly in detail. I am afraid, these are not the original ones. The RX-K OE Cylinder has '4Y201' marking on it & even the Con-Rod should have '4Y2' marking on one side & 'YAMAHA' on other side, else it is something else.

    I remember "sunnyboi", had previously confirmed this in this very forum. I have even checked with my Tuner who has been importing these things for quite some time now & he too has a similar opinion.

    I would leave this matter to other seniors who have the exp with RX-K parts.

    If I'm not wrong, your plug should show a jet black color; put your needle one step above or rather in middle. You'll need to fiddle with airscrew (allow less air) when you make this adjustment. Incase, your plug is not in jet black color, pls let me know.

    Guys the VM28 round slide, is currently running needle position second from bottom, and total notches are 5. Currently pilot jet is 20, and main is 165.

    Any suggestions???

    Which flatslide are you using? If using a "TM28 Smoothbore" then the stock jets come with 15 pilot jet and 180 main jet. Will recommend upgrading the pilot jet to 20.
