    @JD.. Try using the choke when it flutters. If it improves, you need a bigger main jet n vise-versa.

    Ganesh, 4-speed carb & 5-speed carb are not same. They are totally different. Its not just the jets, but they are internally different too.

    165/17.5 may be std for 4TL 01, but for 4TL4 20 its a different setting all together. And again, yours is a TM & we are talking VM here.

    No argument here, but jetting is something which comes more with practical experience & thereby we deduce some thumb rules.

    What's your needle position with 1 being top & 5 being bottom? What's the plug color? If its jet black, then move the needle one position above from the current.

    Grrrreeat info there.. this is an absolutely useful guide for anyone to identify their bikes/engines etc. Most of the information here, is news for me as well.

    How about something for the RX100 as well, im sure there will be a lot of members waiting for info on that as well.
