Longest trip was from Aurangabad to Bhopal. Around 1300 Km round trip in 4 days.

Bhopal is a lovely city.

Longest trip was Coimbatore to Chikmaglur ISG2G did nearly 1000 kms the bike was awesome we took many breaks but at some leg we touched 110+.. If quality 2T oil mixed in right proportion and service before the ride we can do happy miles with the bikes.....
Other rides include Coimbatore to Masinakudi non stop but too much stress for the engine.. At one point after reaching Masinakudi there was no response from the bike due to overheating just a 10 minutes break and its back to life with same old response... One of the best bike from Yamaha stable ....

@ Dinesh, It was a round about of approximately 1200 Kms till back home and the bikes were five 2-Strokers...

it is very pleasure to share my long trip. from 1997 i got my first bike kb100(seconds). i took my bike riding the long way from tenkasi(home town) - tirunelveli - coimbatore(working place). around 417 km from that day on wards still now i am riding the same distance with my yamaha curx , yamaha rx135 . first time it took me 12 hours . but l now the running time is reduced to 6.10 hours. one fuel stop and 4 tea break. once in every two months i will go to my home town. now the day comes FEB end. YAMAHA MAKE YOU HAPPY RIDING.

I think from that enormous population of ours, only a handful of persons ride their 2-stoke bikes for their madness(or you can say passion )

Thank god I am in that handful of people who love their 2-stoke bike more than anything and are still riding them with full passion

The longest I have done on my 1993 Rx100 is Haldwani-Ghaziabad-Haridwar-Haldwani(total 695km) in 2010 , on a 2 nights and 3 days ride...
Max. speed I gain was 95kmph(due to bad road conditions that time) for 1hr continuous and run for 3 hrs continuous on 70-75 kmph
Bike didn't me any type of trouble during the whole journey. The only thing that irritates me that time were no. of punctures I faced (got 4 punctures one-by-one in between Haldwani and Ghaziabad and 2 punctures in between Haridwar and Haldwani), and between Haridwar to Haldwani I have to pull the bike on foot for 4kms(1st puncture) and 6kms(2nd puncture).
Only thing I had packed for the bike is a bottle of Castrol 2T and that comes out as a very wise decision during the journey. The bike gives a wonderful 37kmpl overall mileage that time and I was more than happy when I calculated it after the journey


There are also many single day rides of 250-350 km which are still going on and Rx100 never give me any serious trouble in any of these trips( actually clutch wire is the only thing which get me in trouble most of the times)!!!

I just did Ghaziabad - Jalori Pass same day around 500km on my 1987 RX100. DId ride the bike throughout the day and it was fun. Took her after 2010 to hills. Travelogue coming soon.

Hi. The longest trip I have made on a 2-stroker is on my Jawa 250 last April.
From Kolhapur to Mumbai
Total Distance 403kms
Avg. Speed 40kmph
Time taken 10.5hours
Max. Speed 60kmph (Due to Running-in the new block-piston)
3 stops of 5 minutes each.
1) For Breakfast (@Karad)
2) To Refuel (@Pune)
3) To rehydrate myself (@Navi Mumbai)
Fuel efficiency 30kmpl

A coast to coast south India trip of around 4400kms on the RD back in March, 2017.
