It's ok ..... not much play in it.

The following link might work. Its a video of the gear lever showing the amount of play in it.

        Hey!

I was also looking for the rear shocks to be upgraded to Platina's or Discover's....I've seen them in many of the bikes. I feel they would offer better suspension and comfort as compared to Escorts or Gabriel. Also, the latter are not available.

Moreover, all these cost almost the same. So can the one in "orange and black" be fitted without any mods???

Oh!! Karan, I know how to arrest this. Personally I don't like this play, but over time due to wear & tear, the ROD SHIFT (the horizontal metal plate connecting the gear pedal & the gear arm shift) gets worn out.

Just change the rod shift & then you'll have less play. It should cost something around Rs 120.

BTW, the one I'm talking about, comes behind the gear pedal...

Yes, the suspension will be soft for a single rider at point 1 & very soft at point 5 with pillion. I've been using this for over 1.5 years now

They are; I changed mine to Escorts 2 days ago

No the SNS suspension is expensive than Rx's stock by about Rs 300+; Though the SNS is a direct fit, it increases Rx's height atleast by an inch.

I have installed those SnS (discover one's), to me, with pillion they feel so soft, but while riding solo, i doubt their functionality ....... currently i am thinking of changing those to stock one's in near future

"E-Confessions" are in trend these days, make one and start of again. I need to finalize things as I only have a couple of days left with me to complete the bike and along with that I'll be starting with a new job as well

The main area of concern are horns, shockers and the handle...regarding the handle, I know I would have to plonk a stock handle.

How about the tacho? Does it show "near to accurate" readings???

What is the concern Karan? Are you saying you don't like stock looks & need FZ's? Well, let put another fact, upfront, if you've FZ's handle bar, then you might land up in a forward leaning position instead of sitting errect too. There could be a way to overcome, but I'll have to compare FZ & Rx once again.

Well, I guess it should be fine, not sure though.

How about the motocross handle??? I've seen them fitted in many of the bikes these days. Take a look at the following for that matter.

regarding handle (stock or motocross), it's totally your choice but if i were in your shoes, would go for stock

                                2. Regarding suspension, go for stock one's bro

                                3. Regarding REAR tyre - Go for Mrf Nylogrip Plus, good grip on dry as well as wet tarmac and good cornering abilities too ( I am using it )
