4 Jokes what is that, refrain in abusing the technologies even if you are too good in 2 strokesOriginally posted by karthikdattag View Post
Nice.
Many more years to go my friend. To beat an RD with these modern day 4-jokes with 250cc capacity will be a tough job. Build an RD right from scratch (with OE or racing parts) & with some porting & exhausts, the timing will further go down.

Read the article first.
P.S: In 2-stroke world we call 4-strokes as 4-jokes, if you have a problem with that, then lodge a complaint with 4-jokes cell, i am all game.

Bring it on...Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostThanks Ram. Wait till you see the Ignition.

Thinking of the clearances for all of them makes me go mad...!Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostNote: 10 Sizes are available for RZ350 alone (including STD size) from Wiesco

, that also can be used on RD350. But we using that of RD350 AC.[/COLOR]

You will have to wait for some more time. As the famous Hindi saying goes "Sabar Ka Phal Meetha Hota Hai". I still remember still dialouge from Hindi Movie 'Masti', wherein Lara Dutta Keeps telling this to our heroes.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostBring it on...
.
We are more comfortable with the Mikuni Carbs & its more easier for parts exchange as even our RX135 & RX100 are running with TMs.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View Post

I was under the impression that the Wiesco pistons had lesser expansion during hot condition ...and hence lesser clearance can be maintained...Originally posted by karthikdattag View Post
Yes, they dont give +0.25mm increment in air-cooled ones because of higher clearances recommened by Wiesco.
Does Wiesco demand higher clearance...leading to the rattling sound initially ?When Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Yup Wisecos expand like mad that's why they always lead to a noisy engine, Wossner molybdenums are much much betterOriginally posted by psr View PostI was under the impression that the Wiesco pistons had lesser expansion during hot condition ...and hence lesser clearance can be maintained...

Yes. we are following the recommendation by the piston manufacturer.Originally posted by psr View PostI was under the impression that the Wiesco pistons had lesser expansion during hot condition ...and hence lesser clearance can be maintained...

Trust me, the rattling sound is not all that bad. Once the desired engine temperature is reached (Read, a good blast in 2-3-4 gears), this sound is a goner.
I have no idea how it works in Liquid cooled engines, but this is the way it is in Air-cooled ones. You can check for DT125 & DT175 too, the increments are in +0.5mm for Wiesco brand.
Infact i am planning to go for Wiesco Piston kit for my 4TL10 STD size bore, but i will have to go for a re-bore, else will have a major engine siezure. So this is the way these pistons work.

u mean the Wiescos expand to some extent after reaching the operating temp & stop? or else if they keep on expanding, sure it'll lead to a major engine seizure.Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostYes. we are following the recommendation by the piston manufacturer.

Good going.
Its the opposite. One should not rip until the engine has reached the desired temperature.Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostTrust me, the rattling sound is not all that bad. Once the desired engine temperature is reached (Read, a good blast in 2-3-4 gears), this sound is a goner.
Would love to see you run a Wiseco with just a reboreOriginally posted by karthikdattag View PostInfact i am planning to go for Wiesco Piston kit for my 4TL10 STD size bore, but i will have to go for a re-bore, else will have a major engine siezure. So this is the way these pistons work.

I thought you were running a big bore!!!!!!! I am talking about a simple 132cc engine with 58mm bore. I hope there is no confusion.Originally posted by SunnyBoi View PostWould love to see you run a Wiseco with just a rebore
