I am planning to change the color back to the classic style. Though color choices are personal tastes,I am just asking your opinion, should I paint the engine black or the classic style. Apart from the disc set up I am planning for a stock RX.
Is the vm22 mikuni same everywhere in the world?

Sure,I will check this. Is the crank assembly available for RX 135?

If you ask my opinion on the color, i prefer everything else in stock form if the engine is silver. Right now your engine is already black which suits currant set up.

Yes the VM22 is the same the world over although the jet sizes differ. There are variants of the model like the SS, SC .

Can you please elaborate the flaw in the RXG clutch bell? Is bore and head different too? I would appreciate some education on this.

That's news, where can I get all this done including labour for 6k. Just the whole clutch setup may require that amount. Please do a little research before posting. Answers for all your suggestions can be found in this forum itself. I request you to take sometime and go through the threads before posting.

i really can't understand why rxg clutch was considered so bad/flop??
i know it had some really taller gearing but i have also seen perfect running bikes(yes RXG). spending 6k for rx135 setup!! if you are really this serious leave the clutch part as it is, it may come handy in future updates( imagne a block with 18bhp, a decent chamber and this taller setup).
anyway its your bike, so up to you what really u want from it.....

[QUOTE=rxdude;828721]Hi, a few pictures of my rxg

I like the Sticker work in your RXG. Where did you got this done? Or did you bought it as it is?

Hi Guys, I am facing a similar problem like in the above thread. I need your suggestions on the problems in my 5 speed. I have this bike from over 6 years. of late it has started to give me problems in clutch. the bike wont just take off after engaging gear and releasing the clutch, it just jumps and the comes to immediate halt and the engine shuts down. It wont move ahead unless I move it in half clutch, even in which case the bike gives a big jerk upon fully releasing the clutch. I took the bike to many mechanics in Bangalore (power crest being one) , all of them assured, promised n said its clutch bell play and reset it a dozen times but none were fruitful and later those idiots say that common dialogue " Sir its now alright know- since its just reset n new spings are put just ride for few kms and will become alright- or they justify saying there is now no problem at all" all these nonsense replys they give. but none were able to arrive at a proper conclusion useless. Infact I myself overhauled the entire clutch bell unit with friction plates and clutch plates and replaced the whole set including the plates housing case with that of my friends bike (Also a 5 speed with amazing and breathtaking performance and pickup) however we noticed that his bike was performing even better with my recently reset clutch bell than his own and my bike showed the same old jerking problem even after installing his clutch bell which was perfectly fine in his 5 speed. Guys this is very annoying thing and unmanageable in traffic and in lower gears, just cant ride in city limits amidst traffic. it has the power but suddenly gets shut off and while riding in a flat roads while accelerating and decelerating it gives a sudden jerks feels like as if there is a half radius play in clutch bell but however there is no problem in clutch at all as its running great in my friends bike. could anyone identify this and help me.. thanks guys I will be eagerly waiting for your reply.

guys in relation to my previous post above, also note that the clutch bell is 5 speed original with main bell=74 teeth and primary drive=19 teeth plus I recently fixed a used close ratio gearbox. but its no fun riding as the clutch is awfully pathetic.
