Oh, have a look. It's my CL-2 with a Jawa tank and a flower-head acquired from that dealer. The bike isn't fully finished, some graphics to be added. Jawa tank for 700/- and FH for 1000/- with some small freebies like Petrol-T, backlight etc.Originally posted by srinikasyap View Post

Srini,
I can get it from a place 80 kms from my city. I am in Lucknow and there is a dealer who literally has almost everything of Ys and Js. Handles(all models), rims, silencers, Engine covers, heads, blocks, carbs(even Jikovs), rear mudguard, clutch housing and centre, Yezdi tanks. What he does not have is the tank-ignition type tanks. He says also has the pin-type key of Jawa but he too lazy to search for it. Last time i went there i saw a Y175 standing there to be ripped off.
Oh forgot to tell you. All the parts aren't new. They are taken from older bikes. He has a HUGE collection, believe me.

I actually dont think it looks good Srini ... it looks odd - like a badly designed mod job.

^^ yes it was, though you could also mod the head to improve the compression marginally.

There are no reeds on the Yezdi surely...AFAIK at least.
Radial fin head is *supposedly* meant to improve performance though I am a little skeptical since I am under the impression it was meant for better cooling ?

u mean the Flower head?Originally posted by jd666 View Post^^ our very own power twin makes the radial finned head for the jawa. He specially sent me 2 tail lights for the Jawa, free! because i was unable to source em anywhere, and then he photo copied and sent me the parts catalog as well!!! great guy!
My aim is to make the bike as stock as possible, i have all the nut and bolt kits even. Just need time to sit and start work on the bike!!

^^ good question.. though i dont remember seeing any, Nope i dont think so, since there isnt any direct induction, its only crankcase transfer.
