    No Brother,
Forgetting your terminology" UNDERCARBURRETED" just joke yah!)
There is always a myth among our automobile enthusiast, about this carburetor selection ( or i should say about Lean & rich fuel mixture)
It doesn't mean high capacity engine should have more then ONE CARB to serve the purpose...
Since we were discussing about 350cc TWIN engine, let compare RD 350 & Yezdi350 ( since both are 2 stroke Parallel twins)
" Though plenty of parameters to be considered in deciding this Carb matter" let me point out a simple thing which will make you understand the basic fact behind this..
RD 350 Cylinders have a very short Stroke compared with Yezdi 350( its like Dimeter of the bore in RD is Stroke of Yezdi) hence different Port timing, different Exhaust & inlet duration, all these factors mean lot in suction & scavenging of gases, hence total change in Carburtion.
we will discuss more about this, when a dedicated thread is here!!
Ps: Do you know most of the British Thumpers ( upto 650cc have single Carb

    Hello Doctor,
Till now, I have thoughts about your Fury's speedo worm, have asked my contacts, expecting full front wheel unit from a guy, lt's see how it turns out!!
If my memory serves right, Think have not given any promises to Yamdoot.
If at all, we are going to fabricate one then I need your front wheel Hub plate ( Carrier plate), lets try to get the original
    Cheers!!

ps: About YEZDI inlet>>" originaly it doesn't have reed valves.
pps:@ jd666:- It doesn't mean only direct air induction set up can have reeds, even crank case inlets can have reeds ( example : TVS mopeds etc.,......lets stay basic...plenty to be discussed on this topic )

    Hi Marvin,

My name is Jayram and Iam from Hyderabad. I am new to Xbhp, but just like you all even I am a huge fan of this beauty. I have a 1996 Roadking. I am trying to source as many original parts as I can. When I saw your post, my eyes lit up after I read about the list of spares. I want a small help from you. I am looking for an original crank case with connecting rod, CDI unit, roadking handle, throttle assembly with cable, brake and clutch levers. If you planning to visit Sitapur during this weekend, please check the availability of these spares and the rates as well, would be a great help. Would be waiting for the good news.

One would be amazed to see his main store. There are tonnes of parts available for the 100-150 cc mosquitoes.

I can get it from a place 80 kms from my city. I am in Lucknow and there is a dealer who literally has almost everything of Ys and Js. Handles(all models), rims, silencers, Engine covers, heads, blocks, carbs(even Jikovs), rear mudguard, clutch housing and centre, Yezdi tanks. What he does not have is the tank-ignition type tanks. He says also has the pin-type key of Jawa but he too lazy to search for it. Last time i went there i saw a Y175 standing there to be ripped off.
Oh forgot to tell you. All the parts aren't new. They are taken from older bikes. He has a HUGE collection, believe me.
marvinL u have a PM, pls check it out.
