to be Honest its extremely difficult to source OE parts for RD and I know how painful it is .. keeping this in mind I was able to push my budget way off from the plan I had when I got the Bike home.. decide to make it a full us spec, however as I respect the law in India will continue to use the engine case and the frame from the bike. sold every thing else and took close to a year to collect extremely rear and hard to find parts from across the word.. keep reading this space to view those parts and the story

have got the carburettors imported all the way from Colorado, United States , i prefer to do most of the work my self,, how ever i see that they look like not been used for ages and need a through cleaning, i have soaked them in DOT3 break fluid, believe they are stuck at the moment,,, well figured out to get them out,, i do not want to apply much force on the sliders ,,, definitely not ready to break into tear if i scratch them Click image for larger version

Was trying to figure out how on earth those carbs sliders stuck so hard ..I could not get them out even after soaking them in DOT 3 break fluid over night.. so have decided to try the trick.. 200ml of. Non fruit Vinegar added to 2liters of boiling water and submerge the Carbs and cooked them for 25 minutes.. got the sliders out smooth Click image for larger version
