People in India usually use painting and powder coating interchangeably. Paint is a wet process, powder coat is a dry process. Powder coating is done on bare metal surface.

I live near Nizampet dude, quite close by, I have got it done at a place who does the powder coat job for industrial stuff which is far off from the city ,, if its just rims u can give it locally there is one guy who is running powder coat plant near sanath nagar who does pretty good job, I can help you with that.

I have opted for powder coat for simple reason , rd is a fast bike and does produce high temperature , paint can peel off at any time unless we go for a heat proof paint. rather powder coat is way better option though it coasted me 5times more than paint

So after enough of confusion and discussion on LT and HT blocks, I have told my self let me do a US spc rd ,, every BHP counts , have managed to import a set of US spec blocks in standard size and when I was raised my budget , to be honest started not to count on budget and started to blow cash on the parts,, got the OEM 1st over size ART pistons with the Original box

Freshly re-bored US Spec Barrels to 1st over size. 64.25 .. Gold like ART pistons

All the way from Wellington, Ohio, United States. was taken out from 1975 RD350. i like the way the Drill like holes on the gear wheels for better oil flow which i have not seen in my Indian Rd gear box.. the kit is so wicked that it looks nearly new. sold my Indian gear box & picked up one complete TRANSMISSION set with SHIFTER SHAFT SHIFT DRUM FORK and every nut and bolt .. yes it did cost me a bomb but worth every penny Click image for larger version
