            200km/hr

            I still remember the power of an RD when I took it to 150km/hr and that was scary.200km/hr -one thing for sure the RD still remains the beast even after 25 years.

              I had a chuckle reading through this thread, how times have changed. I still have my RD but my priorities have shifted over the past few years. I've already had my speed fix from various machines so i'm no longer chasing topspeed like i used to. Along the way i disovered the race track and now drag racing doesnt appeal to me anymore either. The RD hasnt seen the road in a very long time, maybe when i find time i'll work on getting it back in action as a regular street ride, as of now no plans. The RD holds legendary status especially in this country even after so many years and i can still remember my first experience riding one. Not to take anything away from the bike, its a great machine, but i also think we need to realize that the world has moved on and modern day sports bikes are in a very different league. The RD proved itself for 25 years, now its time we cut it some slack, enjoy it for what it is and for those who have moved on, cherish the memories of the past.

                      If its not a classic like the pic above, give me one good reason why I wouldn't pick up a modern day 600.

                      unless ofc someone photoshops this pic too and adds a PV to the engine..Oh wait, its not an RD anymore then

                            Well yes it was, during its days. Now motorcycle technology has gone ahead by 30 years from the RD days. They stand no chance in front of the modern and mean bikes.
                            However we can appreciate and love it as a classic. Its not sense to call it the performance king even today.
                            I wonder why only india is like this. Even to this day, many people swear by the bullet as being the most powerful bike. Heck, times have changed and today's modern household generators and water pumps produce more power than the bullets.
                            The RD as per most hold the limelight of true performance. Well its a beauty of its own holds its respect, but can no ways be compared to the newer ones.
                            Move on!

                              @kerelabiker

                              follow this rule u get what u pay for.
                              dont expect a RD in 25k to be anywhere near ur expectation. in fact at most take it kick it a few times and feel satisfied that u own a RD

                              u want something nice by nice i mean something that can be called an RD, up ur budget to 50k
