as for the performance part...
the shaolin acc to me is a very refined two stroker...it rides well,handles well....also the 5th cog is like a breath of fresh....
the power of the shaolin isnt that very impressing,but still fun to ride...

nice short write up, was waiting to read that infact, yes i agree with you, not an out right performer, but a great cruiser, i love those nights when she sits into a nice pur ont he highway c oming home from work at an indicated 70kmph, so calm and comfortable, dare i say she feels better at that speed than my 200,

i got it for 5 and a half grants....
i dint have to put a new piston(so its running stock..for now)..
i did replace some parts like...
new reeds,clutch plates,pressure plates,clutch bell and bushings,all cables like brake,clutch etc...also paint (black),stickers...all gaskets,tyres....
i also had made a tuned exhaust for my bike,it ran well...but not that great....made some changes in the chamber ....
now i am doin my shogun up....Comment
