Its not locally available in india, you need to order them from US, best is get the diameter measured and contact rddreams.com you can get it from there.

Dont want to start no filter wars here..just my opinion!! cheers all

@Vas: gimme a few days time and I shall post pics there

@Psycho:As of now the stock tap seems to be doing justice. But keep in mind that I dont even go anywhere close to the powerband or heck I dont even shift up from 2nd when I take her out..for now Im just riding her every two days to warm her n nothing else.So we'l have a concrete answer to your question once I really start riding the way an RD is meant to be ridden..and to let u know I do have my own doubts about the stock tap..lets see

@Yamdoot: Thanks will check it out!

Fantastic, Prashant, Absolutely Fantastic! Hats off to U. Even I've been dreaming of restoring an old RD and am going about the initial stage trying to find a piece with legal papers.

Only the true enthusiast will actually understand the patience, pain and immense pleasure one goes through in a project such as this. I loved the paint job and the overall finish and the DG head simply blows me away!

If it was me, I'd try to acquire a fresh set of meters (the ones U have look a little past it's prime) -I guess U can always recondition them. Also a disc set-up in the front- preferably a Fury unit for the period look and availability and as far as looks go, in my opinion, this bike is crying out for the original silencers..

That would look awesome. Ron Chinoy at rddreams can help U with the meters and the disc set-up but trying to source good condition silencers and indicators are like searching for King Tut's treasures.

Oh, and i have heard a lot of good stuff about Ron's Cdi set-up. u can try contacting him at www.rddrerams.com

Well done, bro. Keep it up. Respect!
