I must be one among many RX users realized the difference after installing the RDD Digital CDI kit.
I just can't stop resisting my post here in this forum.
After I received my RDD CDI kit, was waiting for the right time to be fitted on to my bike. Went through the web to learn about the installation.
Though it did not make completely thorough with the procedure, kept myself silent.
Still in back of my mind, could not keep myself watching the CDI kit lying in my room idle.
After few wars inside my head, started out with the CDI kit to nearby wiring guy named Gopi who is quite smart with electrical that not only me also many had realized.
The guy said looking at the CDI kit, 'so many connecting points?'. I said this is specially designed that you will not get it in the market.
Though I was brave enough to take step towards installation, however, in back of my head, was still thinking, what if the installation goes wrong?
I discussed with gopi if he was able to spot the wires that need to be connected, for which I suggested that shall call up friend to detail the installation process.
I called Arun (Bigbore) for the installation instructions since he had recently fitted on his bike, he helped me narrating the process of getting this done. Since I had no clue had to keep asking Gopi on this and he seem to understood and started of doing. Then he started asking me questions again since he said there should be some other wire that needs to complete the while wiring.
I did not think twice and called Pradeep (Psycho_98) immediately, though he was busy with his work, still managed to help on this.
Since Pradeep is also fluent with local language (tamil), made him directly give instructions to gopi.
Pradeep also said that he had given instructions to Gopi on the Curve2 to him should I want to switch. Since I want to try out the normal set up, said might as well keep it as is for now.
Gopi got on to the job and in minute or two he got it fixed.
I had also asked him not to take out the stock CDI unit which can remain in its place.
He asked me to kick the bike to see if the connection was able to get the current. Yes, it did and another kick bike roared to life!
He then placed the kit just below the seat right on top of battery area and secured the box with cover it came along.
I realized that we will need to use Honda Activa plug cap which I did get that point of time. With the stock plug cap we both went to nearby Honda showroom and bought the plug cap. He fitted right there when we came out of the showroom.
The bike sounded bit different, should I say more grunt. Due to the traffic in my area could not take neat ride to test the performance.
After reaching Gopi's shop, he took the bike for a spin in the busy residential area. He came back saying that bike seem to be different and it is responding good.
I had a smile on my face and said to myself, the magic of the box.
Sadly, I was all the way negotiating the traffic while coming back home. Other than the bike beat sounded different could not realized what he said to me.
Today early morning, took my bike for a test drive on Mount Road.
I rev hard this time and realised that bike zoomed to 60 in third gear which is something I was amazed. I could not believe myself that my bike runs mad.. this is something which I missed all the while.
I thought would give a try for the top speed on ECR sometime this weekend and headed back home.
Battery in my bike is Exide Bikerz Maintenance free which was bought less than 6 months.
Wiring harness is brand new.
This evening again took my bike for a ride and noticed couple of things:
1. Bike did not start until some kicks given (3-4), which I thought stock CDI would just require 1-2 (max) kicks to roar. I'm currently using NGK 'R' plug on my bike. Is this the correct?
2. When I turn off the engine, there is a slight delay when the engine stops. Is this ok?
Seniors kindly share your thoughts on this.

And you conveniently forgot to mention my name....
