I was getting a shogun for 7k, running condition. Missing the exhaust ( running some cheap expansion ), and the front cowling and headlight, was running a round headlight instead. Done about 30,000 kms.

Now i am itching to restart the project. Guys, whats the status on getting body parts like tank, cowling, headlight? wiring harness? front forks, springs, seals etc???

Any parts which are hard to get by?

@JD, almost all the parts are hard to get.. headlight little difficult to find, cowl is impossible, body parts can be used from the Samurai, new front forks[ Shaolin, direct fit ceriani type] are available, new wiring harness [ minda/ swiss] also available.. new Shaolin Black fuel tank can be used . engine parts are very expensive even if you find some.

jd i guess everything of the shogun is difficult to find at one place unless you are quite patient on the build, this thread will be the best to get in touch with our fellow bikers and a good source for spares but prices are damn heavy my close friend sold his bike for 12,000 was really fed up with the spares issue and the maintenance part finally he landed up with a RX135 after selling it

                        Thanks Nitesh...

                        Hi guys,

I just received a brand new "Pricol Shogun speedometer assembly" from Nitesh today

From the time i got in touch with Nitesh through e-mail and then over the phone, he's been really professional and to the point. I'm from bangalore and was a little apprehensive with the distance involved here, because he's in Mumbai and I'm in Bangalore. But everything went really smooth from the transfer of funds to the goods received.

Nitesh you're a boon to fellow two-strokers like us, considering the fact that people are out there just to con people(atleast here at my place). So, I really appreciate your efforts on helping us out here Nitesh.

                        Cheers.

@Shree.. Thanks for the kind words Shree! I sure would like to help my fellow 2strokers whenever possible. I dont do this as a business but solely as my love towards 2strokes and to keep them alive. besides theres not much profit involved coz the spares i manage to acquire are already expensive.
                          Im glad i could help.

Finally was able to get crank for my shogun.
                                Thanks to Psycho aka pradeep.
I was trying to get the crank from last 9 months spoke to various people and was quoted ridiculous prices. almost bought one from one guy when luckily i spoke to pradeep who like a good friend told me he will help me out. Got it a much cheaper price.
In the past also he helped me out with a carb for my RX that atul ported.
Here are afew pics of the crank.
