Congrats Mel..you sure have iron butts to have traveled such a long distance within 24 hours. In USA ,where it all started by bikers,it will be much easier with higher cc bikes and deserted good roads...but to achieve the same in our country takes exemplary courage and will power...and you had done it...

It seems now, saddlesore does not require the right type of bike, but rather the right type of spirit and determination.
I think, the bunburner ride which you plan would be easier for you since you might execute it on the GT650R
