congrats for the new title you really deserved it . Did you changed your bike like sprocketing etc. I heard from some one that FZ cries a lot to get 3 digit speed .
on 4 wheels u feel the speed after a crash, 2 wheelers are much more advanced

i raised the same question on Page 3, i still doubt that the FZ is capable for Sustained High speeds of 120+ kph which are compulsory for the IBA run. BTW,melroyal said the bike is STOCK.

Abhay Verma from OD magazine too had attempted the same an year back and his case was a borderline one. he managed 1656 kms in 25 hours on a Fazer.

A Fazer/FZ is capable of SS.

I have tried sustained triple digit speeds man. its almost impossible on the bike. the wind blast and the crying engine with rpm close to 9k, just wants you to let go of the throttle. i suppose you picked up a really good route otherwise it would have been tough to manage since overtaking on the highway on the fz sucks. i say this from personal experience. 150cc bikes just finish the ride in the nick of time or lose it like someone quoted the overdrive fazer rider. karizma, P220 or R15 are better suited i guess. the fz is just stressful.

did you take breaks? you never mentioned taking breaks? lol i know your not superman. how did you feel after finishing the ride?

Hi ,the FZ16 engine does take time to pickup after 90 kmph. But if given a four lane route the bike will maintain triple digit speed of 110 kmph.Yes I did take breaks at the time I had stopped at petrol pumps to refuel.

Even Deepak Dongre had successfully completed the saddlesore on a Pulsar 150.

oh.. i just couldn't keep her doing such speeds.. the screaming engine i was scared it would blow up or something lol besides the windblast i couldnt bear the wind noise in my helmet after 80kmph. how did you manage??

                            Hi,

Congratulations on your feat. This is one memorable event.

I have been planning this Saddle Sore thing from quite long. I also have an FZ Jan 2009 make.

                            But I have few queries.

                            1) How much average did your FZ give you?
                            2) Did you change your sprockets..kinda increased the number of teeth?
                            3) What was your average speed?
                            4) What was your constant speed throughout the journey?
                            5) Did you encounter any problem while riding the FZ in triple digits for ample amount of time?
The Fast and the Curious kind!!!

Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
