@Ajay- After 2 big budget trips in 2010, its like hitting two consequtive sixers. Now I have to play with singles & doubles for next few overs.

OMG, Australia is indeed a really magnificent & endless paradise for us bikers. If you are planning on shipping the bike, then the minimum ride should be 3-4 weeks otherwise its cheaper to rent a bike there. Anyway, lets see what holds good for the future.

                    • Haroon could you please start an ownership thread dedicated to your bike BMW 1200GS, it will help many of us, which premium bike(s) to consider / buy before pulling the trigger.

I would guess this could partly qualify for my ownership experience thread.

Also some more discussions on the R1200GS

How much would a New 2011 BMW R1200GS cost in Saudi Arabia right now Haroon? , I am thinking of buying one from Saudi itself coz in India it'll start around RS 18 Lakhs onwards which isn't in my budget currently. However I've seen the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Ducati Multistrada 1200 , how's the bike performance when its compared to BMW R1200GS?

The comparison of the BMW GS & Ducati MS may be OT on this thread. However, since there is a separate thread on GS & MS here, do have a look:
