well am not a frequent rider , i ride when ever i get time or my leaves gets approved. i love to ride in group but u guys ride more then 600 km + in a day and i have just reached the mark of 550 km in a day ... so am getting ready for longer trips ... !!!

n i just read a post that u planning for rajasthan trip , in that u have written that u can reach udaipur in a day ...

i was planning for it to reach udaipur in 2 days ... 1st day till ahmedabad n then to udaipur

Well, We have done 750kms in 14 hours from Mt.Abu to Thane.

In my Rajasthan plan, Only first day is going to be a hard run but roads are excellent so it is possible. Start early morning and reach at night around 10.

Are you planning to ride too? I hate to say this but I dont have anyone else confirmed yet.

yup .. i am planning it but not in feb ... as am going to GOA in feb end ... so long road trip(more then a day ) will be in april ... ..

Rajasthan Trip!!

Hi bro if you guys are planning to go to MT Abu in April i'd love to come. Will be back in Goa from the Uae Mid- April, hopfully 11th or 12th. Coincidentally this March marks 15 years since i finished my schooling there at Saint Mary's High school (Boarding). So this would be really important to me since i have not been back to Mt. Abu since 1997. Let me know the plan guys!

Hi bro have you studied in Saint Mary's as well? Which year did you finish? Regarding the trip it has to be toward the end of second week of April or start of 3rd week as i plan to be down around the 11th or 12th. I need to get the trip plans from Ankss or Sachinnair. They have not yet responded conclusively. Thing is i need to ride at least 2 days in advance from Goa and then meet you guys in Mumbai. 1 day kept for rest/ prep/ logistics orientation in Mumbai before the ride to MT. Abu. Most likely if i don't get like minded people.. I'll have to ride to Mumbai alone and i have never done this before. Only travelled by bus, plane , train.. So i have no idea where we must meet or where i can stay for one day before we start the journey! Hoping Ankss or Sachinnair respond and provide full details and dates once planned! Before i ride down , my friend from Bangalore will be coming to Goa to install an aftermarket exhaust and some other stuff.... So this would be the perfect break-in for those things. The bike has only 1900km on the odo so far. So i'm rearing to go... Just need concrete details from the planners who have done this before! Awaiting a reply! I know this is early but i get a vacation only once a year so i have to ration all my activities to spread equally in that one month! Cheers! Keep me posted!

If you ask me then i would say its 5 days for you my friend.. (Specially if you using N250)

Day 1: Goa - Sawantwadi - Nipani - Kolhapur - Satara - Pune - Mumbai

Last I did this route it took me 10 hours with all the useless breaks

Day 2: Mumbai - Surat - Vadodara - Ahmedabad - Mt. Abu

Again have done this in 14 hours with 3 major food breaks plus other TP breaks

Day 3: Mt. Abu

Personally i think one day is more than enough to see this place unless you want to catch up with old pals and extend your stay

Day 4: Mt. Abu - Ahmedabad - Vadodara - Surat - Mumbai

Day 5: Mumbai - Pune - Satara - Kolhapur - Nipani - Sawantwadi - Goa

Thanks for the route info bro. It may be six days actually... Was planning on a day's rest in Mumbai. So let's see how things work out. So far i have one guy like to come from Goa on his N250. Hoping the guys from here finalize plans and let me know before April! Even though it may be six days for me i'm still excited cause the next opportunity for a vacation will come only next year!! I'm excited at the prospect of seeing the place after 15 years! As far as friends are concerned i'm not in touch with those who are based in MT. Abu. But that can be sorted!

Anybody finalized plans on the Mt. Abu ride? Will be reaching Goa on the 13th of April... so just a month left.. I can't rode alone... So anyone planning please keep me posted!! Thank you!!

I'm all game to travel man.... I've got to ride from Goa... So i need to get someone from here to ride as well till Thane where the plan was to meet up with the other guys and then ride on to Abu... So just waiting patiently for the Thane guys to come through at the moment... It's been several months now and there's been no word from them... Guess their all busy and stuff... I will be down in Goa by the 13th morning... 1 or 2 days after that will go for installin aftermarkets... And then i'm all set...
