      Some shots enroute:

Just after riding 13-14 kms just before south pullu came a turn and the whole city was visible and the riders had a break there, a long one just for

      posing: shy friend:

      rahul kumar menon:

After filling out tummy, time to start again to reach the top.

      THE GATEWAY OF INDIA:
      AND THE GATEWAY OF NUBRA:

And then came THE DREAM DESTINATION.

Its there that we meet the

And yes how can I forget to take our NATIONAL FLAGKhardungla from the OTHER SIDE:SIACHEN HEROES@north pullu:

North pullu has a check post and you have to tell them when you are coming back and your last destination.

      more shots:

Just few kms after north pullu and you wil be amazed to see DESERT IN THE HILLS.

White snowcapped mountains with sandy deserts in the foreground.
We clicked and we moved ahead to that

And the board there gave this messageEnroute:

From snow covered mountains we were now surrounded by sand dunes DOUBLE HUMP CAMELS are found only in this part of the world.
But we were late, come in the morning was the reply from their side.
But we had our cameras and we are never late to click..!!!

      lol:

Some shots and we need a bed now, someone suggested us the tents and we were also interested to experience that.
Found two places with tents, one was full, and then opted for the second one, saif bhai had a bargaining session and he managed to fix the deal @ 500/- per person including dinner and breakfast, the tents were very nice and we were happy with the deal and this is how they look from inside, comfortable and cozy.

After yummy dinner prepared by them and enjoying the feel of tents with some Punjabi tracks, the day was called off.
      DAY 7:
This day is somewhat easy to do and we were not in mood to wake up early and rush towards our destination, but it was like wake up when you feel like and get ready according to that.
Though after sound sleep for say 7-8 hours we were up by 7 AM and ready by 8 AM, breakfast served with the owner telling about the stories of the time of kargil and how they volunteered to help the army as porters and he also told us that the border is also not that far just around 50- 60kms from that place, I had siachen on my mind and now this is what I have to do along with that. Yummy paranthas and tea and there we start the ride again, though camel safari was the thing to do in hudnar now, we again reached that place and started searching for the camel with perfect 2 humps.

      morning shots:

      close up:

Spend more than a hour in the small water crossing or what you want to say it, and started riding back at around 11:40 AM.
As we have taken the shots when we were coming there so lesser photo breaks and we were just riding and riding till khardungla.

      Some shots enroute:
      @diskit:

      leh city:

Reached leh city and had a visit to the war memorial, ultimate experience we had there from that letter that the soldier wrote to his parents to the stories how Pakistani soldiers were living in the country and how they were killed we just can do one thing.
SALUTE TO THE INDIAN ARMY FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING FOR US..!!!
      JAI HIND
      .

The rest of the day was spend in the hotel room, taking rest and then shopping in the market.

                      Enroute:chang la:

                      enroute:

Just few minutes on the pass and we were on the bikes again, pangong was still very far and we had to come back to leh, even though the landscapes were like forcing us to click, we were just riding and riding and riding. Saif bhai and rahul were no where seen, and we just rode till this nullah came:

5 minutes spend to see the oncoming taxis to find the best way to cross that, it was much deeper and pressure was high. Took off our socks, just gum boots and I was the one to cross it, and found a relatively easy way to cross it, and gave the direction to aneja and dagar. This nallah crossed safely, and we continued till we saw sand on road or

                      ROADS OF SAND:

Had to push the bikes and control them. The sand was like flying from the desert to the road and covering it.
This hurdle also crossed and we were relieved to see this:

                      JUST 4 KM AWAY:

Those few kms were in not good shape, but we managed to cross it quickly in excitement... And
                      Reach heaven:

                      PANGONG TSO:

yeah we have done it..!!!"punctured bike"dinner timeGOOD NIGHT.

                      DAY 9:

the "3 idiots" hotel:Enroute Chang la:

Another hour gone in taking his tyre out and going back 2-4kms to karu and then fix that up. Took off the tyre and then rahul and saif bhai took it to karum while we were just waiting there. After almost 25-30 mins they came and we fixed it up back and it was moving again..!!!
Saif bhai and menon went straight to that shop where he had his clutch plates changed after we have reached leh and we visited thiksey:

                      Some photo from the monastery:
