The Apache bikes seem to have done a good job.

To make your day, here is another set of Apaches on another continent!
Have a close look at the windshields...useful for touring I guess.

checked out the trip log for the first time, pics are awesome, i am demanding high-resolution pics.

                      more detailed write-up was expected.
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i have learnt to manipulate my own adrenaline and the perception of biking is different.
                      #overkill is underrated.
#how random roads may appear there is always a destination.sigpic
#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Thanks Gagan and all the best whenever you plan to do Spiti, and yes just ask me once whenever you go, I might go there again..
                        Regarding preparation :
                        • Your ride should be all set for a bumpy ride as hills are always full of surprises, and as I wrote we literally didn't find any roads after Shimla. Tyres, Clutch plate, Brakes, Lighting are the most important, carry all necessary tools and it would be better if one could learn to repair puncture, change throttle cable, and clutch cable - might be helpful
                        • After a particular altitude people who are from plains will face breathing problems so its better to have Diamox 6 hours prior to reaching hills.
                        • Be ready to face extreme climates, we rode in extreme sun, in rain and in chilly winds, that too in a day.
                        • Carry cash, don't trust on ATMs. as per what we have experienced
                        • Be prepared for any checking by Army / Police officials, but they are helpful too.
                        • Be in constant touch with family whenever possible and keep 1-2 days reserve in hand.
                        • Enough of preparation, get leaves and go ride

@Gagan : We did it in 8 days, but due to issue at Kaza (as mentioned in the log), it could have been 1 day less
