Went there twice in the past 3 weeks. It's pretty nice before 3-4ish. After that the cops become plentiful.

Don't forget to smile for the cameras.

I think the Blue Ridge Parkway would satiate me! On the contrary i startled a few Harleys when i was taking a 'low down' shot from the roadside with y white L lens, they though i was a cop with a speedgun and the hell slowed down.

Finally, after 2000 kms on absolute straights, I enter the Great Smoky National Park in my ride from LA to NY. And it was it was an absolute delight! From tommorrow I hit America's voted most famous drive - the Blue Ridge Parkway - 900 kms of absolute curves through forests et al.

Be it the green hills of Uttranchal or the twisties in America, nothing beats riding a multiple cylinder motorcycle through fog, with the sweet forest scent invigorating the biker in me. Six cylinders make it even better, though you have to be a little careful with 400+kgs underneath you! If it starts slipping...

The Blue Ridge Parkway will be awesome no doubt. And you're doing it during the perfect season and weather. Fall's almost here and this weekend is nice and sunny.

        Where are you right now?

It was fun catching up! I have to mention that it was a little weird for me to meet up with you here, seemingly in the middle of nowhere!

But it was definitely fun meeting up and the weather was perfect.

Best of luck for the rest of ride!

In India, we wont even have 84kms Straight, even on NH1 there is diversion after like 20-30kms
