Very lovely read there, Mik. Superliked every part of it. *khuub bhalo*

I can understand your plight on the way to Rohtang. I guess its the same condition all through the year ( read year as long as its open) and can be quite scary when the bike fishtails.

P.S. Great sense of humor. Especially about the plush apartment at Dwarka.

Rohtang, two years back, was a cakewalk. This year has been specially tough. The first few hundred meters are a learning process. After that, its just "avoid clutch, wring the throttle, balance your legs on the slush.. and pray hard!"

I agree Gets worse when the slush dries up and maintains the last shape it had. Seems like riding on rails: you can't even steer the bike then.

I bet the Karizma was behaving akin to a certain NXG offering from the same manufacturer, huffing puffing for air. Best part is, at that altitude, many people can empathize with such behaviour of the bike.

Ohh, and did I mention your travel log was a lovely read, sir?

          Thanks!

Well, the zma was the problem child in the ride. It got its plates burnt, stopped for no reason and crawled at higher altitudes. But, in the slush, it was pretty good, infact better than the 220s. Bigger tyres and the good bottom end torque helped i think.
