      Congratulations Chithra ! Respect!

You always make us proud girl !! Way to go...keep up the good work !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Where in Pune you turned off at?
1,650 was the reading on bike's odo or gps?

Good luck with a fast approval and receipt of certificate.
        Thanks Nav.
I turned at Katraj Pune and the 1650kms, was the odometer reading.

This is really great to see some one achieve their dream run. Hope some day I have the strength to complete this kind of a run.
The bike was loaned to me for a week, and they were really kind enough to approve it.
( But, if that did not happen, I was also on the verge of stealing anybody's bike to attempt it.)

Don't get me wrong here but, if you have started from Tumkur (as it looks like from your first post) and stopped somewhere 50km's after Tumkur & turned off at Katraj. It might be just a bit lesser distance than what's needed.

I don't think IBA considers the distance that you might have covered while you were lost and trying to get back onto your route (unless you have documented proof of the same).

Best thing would be to check the distance as per GPS (and cross check with some maps), between the points(start, turn off, end) you have the receipts with you.

You are a beacon for similarly minded women - we can do anything, anywhere, anyhow. Special kudos should go to your parents who reposed their faith in you. In today's times, where women are subjected to all unprintable trauma, your grit and courage serves as a role model.

Have you though of joining the Armed Forces as an officer? We need gutsy, independent and decisive leaders like you.

Heartiest congratulations once more. Now, you must get a CBR/equivalent bike. I am sure your parents would be happy to gift it to you

                          Congrats Bikergirl!!!!! Oodles of respect!

Although, I too have the same query as aargee, because even I heard that IBA had some issues in the US of A regarding the SS.
