A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Now talking about the Biker's riding Paradise - Kashedi Ghat , i'll let the pictures do the talking again

Now this is at Khed where we took a right from the main NH17..

^^Notice the jugaad on Manas's left foot...he has put a paper tape on his shoe to avoid it getting spoilt due to the toe-shifter

Next up - Nearing the beach and the first view..

Nearing the Beach and the first view...

We went across dapoli towards the ocean and here is the 1st view we got..

CHUDMUD Veeral and his BUDBUD Pulsar

From here we climbed up the hill to get a better view of the beach..

After climbing even higher we reached at this point..

And the view from here was spectacular !

                  Thats the Anjarle Beach

The top view of the 'Kadyawarcha Ganpati' from the hill..

Met a couple of Cyclists who had come all the way from Mumbai there..Ketan dada will be able to tell more about them..

reaching such a spectacular place was itself like finding gold..but still someone was too busy digging for gold

What Veeral had to say about this : "abe mene chudmud bola tha shembud nahi... hasan yeh kya kar raha hai ? :P"

Nevermind I gave my bike for a good diesel wash after coming back

Coming back to the spectacular landscape...

And with such a good back-drop..posing session toh banta hai !

                  And a group pic..

The view of the bridge from top..more about the bridge in the next post..

Until the recent construction of this bridge across the Anjarle creek and the building of a road up to the temple, pilgrims had to cross Anjarle creek (Jog River) in a boat, before climbing the hill using steps which pass through Anjarle village.

                    Next up...At the Temple...

                      ek no.

                      remembered my ventures

the road from dapoli goes towards harnai --climbs in a roundabout way up the hill & gets down from the other side

towards anjarle you also have a 'kandivli" village

but you missed seeing one more famous temple --the keshav-vishnu one -- very beautiful indeed

                            At the Temple..

Before reaching the temple...the other 4buggers went ahead while we three were taking pics behind...and we got lost... went further into the village..

Getting lost wasnt a worry cause we would have anyways found the temple with so many helpful villagers around but the worry was we all were running on low petrol ! The only petrol pump was back in Dapoli some 20-22kms away and I with my P135LS's puny lil tank was already running in reserve...eventually the villagers showed us the right way to the temple and we reached there only to find others relaxing and having cool 'Kokam Sharbat'

                            The entrance of the temple

This ancient and magnificent Ganesh temple was originally constructed using wooden pillars in around 1150. Later it was renovated during 1768 to 1780.

The Ganesh idol is right-sided (its trunk curved towards the right, ("Ujwya Sondecha Ganpati") which is very rare. Kadyawarcha Ganpati is also considered as the live deity (a jagrut daiwat) who responds to distress calls of common people (nawsala pavnara Ganpati).

There is a pond in front of the temple where you can feed big fish and turtles. Beside the Ganesh temple there is a small but beautiful temple of Lord Shiva.

Our bikes parked right in front of the pond

Had another glass of Kokam sharbat (Sachin had a glass of Jamun which apparently tasted something else ) and from there we headed to find "Keluskar" who are known for their good food there..

                            Nearing the beach again !

Next up -- Getting no food and heading to a beach resort instead..
