10th Feb 2012

3:00 AM4:00 AM6:00 AM: I was at Gujarat border, took the first pit stop at a hotel & restaurant on the NH 8. Had 2 cups of tea & saw the odo showing around 180 KM.

10:30 AM12:00 NOON: 15 mins halt at Ahmedabad for tea & biscuits (Parle-g I love them). Telling & yelling people about my road trip. My first ever road trip.
From Ahmedabad I went to Himat Nagar. I messed up my way in between & finally struggling with Gujarati people I was able hit the road back on. Now I was on the way for Udaipur which was 300 km away from Ahmedabad.
The whole experience in GUJRAT was amazing, riding the bike zip zap zoom, in between the trucks on national highway! Was a fun. Had few close calls but I was prepared for all. My love for the motor in between 2 wheels. I was taking off on the runway of my dreams.
I started reacting quickly for everything; I was no more a lazy ass. Attaining & riding my machine at speed of 90-100 kmph, I had to make superfast decision of going right or left, left or right, right or wrong.
Front tire at high revolution was continuously hunting & searching for the roads while rear tire was like a commanding officer which used to shout in between wherever the front wheel used to commit a mistake.
The breeze, insects colliding with my helmet visor, the self-grown plants on sideways, no visibility of human race only machine racing for their destination. Everything transformed in a flick in my head.
Waving at the kids in the cars when they were smiling upon seeing me with all the riding gears.That innocent & pure smile with neat hands which were saved from these dirty races of humans of this day. There was something unusual which made me happy & I started clocking more & more on the odometer.
Now I was totally synchronized with my bike, when to shift up & down, accelerate & brake.I & YAMAHA were no longer a separate & a different species.
3:00 PM Are you going to play cricket (5:15 PM: I stopped at a hotel 60 KM before Udaipur. There was nothing 50 km before & after this hotel.I was confused whether to halt or not , then I decided to stop for the day , that was a good decision I made. I then Checked in & got a nice room for 400 bucks plus ok ok food! Which was surprisingly eatable.

Bed in the room was the best (may be my ass was jealous with my back :P).Had bath. The bike was totally ok but I had gone total black. 3 buckets of hot water in chilly winter, exhaust emissive were finally off my body. I asked the hotel guy to wake me up at 3:00 AM.

3:00 AMThere was an incident like this just two back4:30 AM: I started to ride on my babe! AGAIN.it was so much ****ing chill that i had to stop in between.I had few cups of tea and few raw green chilly in order to get warm. Green chilly had its effect jus for 15 mins. Then it was gone with the wind. Double gloves with the hood of jacket on head then helmet. 2 degree temperature & I was flying at 80-90 kmph. I had to stop in between at an every interval of 20 mins & bang my ultra-extreme cold hand to the bikes engine. Crossed Udaipur. Now it was the time for fuel to finish, I was in running in reserve.

I stopped & asked a guy for Jaipur, he told 450 KM.
For next 2 hours I was driving my bike crazy & like hell. After 2 hours I stopped, I asked for Jaipur again. That guy told me 450 KM!!!!!!!!
WTF ????4:00 PM: TRIBHOVAN PANDYA,DEDICATED TO ALL XBHP MEMBERS !!BARFEE (MASTER g ORANGE, Went inside, he started telling bout the spec of this bike after I told him about my trip. I was so much excited that I was actually telling everyone on the road. My first roadtrip without any crash !


Before leaving , I lost my bike keys (which had the house keys in it) just a day before.
Searching for it for long , I found it in my bag

Taking stop in between I had a tea & as usual, started chit chat with this guy. The tea was for 4 rupees but I had only 500 & 100 notes in my wallet. This guy paid 4 rupees for my chaai. Thank u sir.

After leaving from ajmer hotel at 5:00 AM , I was on the way for Udaipur, I had my tea at this spot with parle-g biscuits.
The tea was amzing. The dawn was breaking.
