Hey Sachin, It's really nice to know that you took your li'l sis along.
Now even she might get the touring bug. What a way to relax after
the std 12 exams. She must be overjoyed.

Great ride... Congos n keep up the touring spirit mate.

Lol, Those gori me'ms where in other jeep right behind us all the time so clicked them. Not sure if they can win any poll though

Yeah, My sis wanted to accompany rather than sitting idle at home doing nothing during vacation time. She was happy and loved her stay in Gir although I cant say the same for other places.

Touring bug, Naah. Sitting continuously on the saddle is not the best thing to go for girls Is it?

Yes, Hats off to her for not complaining and allowing me to ride as per my wish.
First time I felt the heat during the trip was post I left Gir and reached Somnath at around 12. It reminded me of Delhi heat

So overall only between 12 - 3 PM the temperature is very hot and apart from that very pleasant. No issues what so ever.

I understand that sitting on the saddle for long hours is not really the thing for girls but you never know. Its good to know that inspite of all this your sis gave you good company without any complaints... What more can one ask for... thats the sign of a good pillion, isn't it ?

Just happened to visit this thread so replying so late. There are no more pictures to share and Day 4 & 5 (Last 2 days of the trip) were spent riding back home with hardly any photos that would make a difference. So that's it as far as Gujarat Coastal ride pics were concerned.

Regarding return journey - route selected was Dwarka - Jamnagar - Rajkot - Anand - Vadodara - Surat - Thane. Again, excellent stretch and we had loads of fun while returning back too.

Ride Safe!

A lion safari jungle and bikes were allowed ?? how come ??

And the pics of lion you took were from bike or some kind of safari vehicle ??

You are mixing up 2 things. On the way to Sasan Gir we went through forest main gate and came out from the other gate. This route passes through the jungle.

Later we went in a bus to Devaliya where we spotted Lions. I think it was close to 20 feet away from us.

Next day we did jeep safari however could not stop any big cat.

Gujarat always Rocks Brother and i've visited all those place which you have mentioned in picture ! Nice pictures . Gujarat And NH8 You can easily cruise at 150 KMPH i'm talking from my experience Its my Regular Route ... And Thank you For the Compliment about (State and Urban Roads). And that School name is Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul School 2 KM From my house And 100 meters from Empress mall
