As many of us who have ridden around Goa will know, riding in Goa is a real pleasure. The roads are superb and even the narrow interior village roads are pothole and speed breaker free.
Once we had settled down to the Goan holiday routine and felt relaxed, we decided one morning to take a ride for breakfast. What would seem like a loony idea to others seems perfectly logical to us bikers! We decide to ride down to the Maharashtra border for breakfast. Last year we had ridden up to Terakhol- a small village border with MH, but this time we decided to take the highway.

We leave quite early and head on to NH17. Mornings are the best times to ride especially at the coast since it can get quite humid later on.

We reach Panjim and continue North on the highway. We cross many bridges and rivers and pass through villages where Feni was being brewed and the aroma was wafting in the air.

We finally reach the Maharashtra border, just cross it and take a few clicks and turn around and return to the amused looks of the security personnel.

The ride distance was 80k.m. was it for the breakfast or was it for the ride?? We stop near the border for a simple breakfast of bhajji pav and start the ride back. Loony? Maybe

Cheers Guys !
