Yeah Harsha.... A very underrated destination tho.... But one of the best places around.....

Guess what even Monkeys chilling around....

Finally we decided to trek and explore what's at the bottom....

You can see how tiny I am in the frame...

On my way down....

At the bottom....

And that's me

When we descended we were awestruck by the desolate surroundings there.... Cranes and other species of birds(pardon me for my ignorance) were having a gala time around.... With sunset approaching we could see the red cover getting thicker and thicker.... We had our share of good luck and we were happy on including this destination in our itinerary.... Will post the remaining pics soon

Man that is a Gorge'eous place... Never expected it to be that huge a must Visit place is all I can say after looking at the magnificient pictures..

Gandikota is an awesome place. Had plans to go there last year when I toured Andhra but had to leave at the last moment as couldn't spare the time for same

Yeah Rakesh..... Post Monsoons it's a paradise.... We had our share of luck and we could see a bunch of birds..... Surely a must visit place....

Posting the last leg of of our 4 days trip....
Post sunset the red aura around was very soothing.... We wanted to spend more time at the river bed but we knew we ll be stranded in dark.....

Day 4: We rode along wind mills in Yadiki and reached Gooty. After that heat started playing spoil sport. Till Hyderabad we took frequent breaks for hydration. Finally reached home post noon.

We had a rejuvenating ride and a wonderful experience altogether. Wish to ride and explore rural Andhra in many more rides....

Did you do some off-road riding to reach those hills in the following pic or is there a road to drive on to the hills?

Am planning a ride to horsley hills some time during this monsoon....after going through your pics....i planning to include Gandikota also

in my itinerary.

No off-roading mate... Just poser pics... These hills were 50 meters away from our guest house. So, for pics sake we got our bikes there.
Gandikota is one place, which is scenic in all seasons. In/Post monsoon, you will thoroughly enjoy the green panoramic view of gorge and Penna river.
