U didnt click a pic at Baralach la....i mean standing at the pass....i dont know if this happened to you, but we missed stopping at Baralach la during our trip (last month), it was completely snowed out....all white...no boards, nothing....we stopped around 500m ahead, then our friend told us that the two small poles with a small mandir (if you remember), that is actually Baralach la ....then we turned our bikes around, went there and took a shot...

Hey Aniruddha, welcome to xBhp! Hope you had a great time in Ladakh.

No pictures of the Baralacha top mate. It was about to snow when we passed through. So we just sped past the mandir. However, one of our team mates got stuck in snow and got some pictures of the place I'm yet to see them though.

Thanks a lot buddy. In tpin?? What's your tpin Id?? I didn't take Duke because I didn't trust those transportation options we have. Also carrying extra fuel was not really something I wanted to do In fact, some of the bikes in our team were badly damaged. So I'm glad I didn't take that risk.

Not a member in tpin yet, but browse through the website quite often.

Waiting for the rest of the ride report

I believe its the spirit of riding thats most important to all of us bikers and not the size of the engine or the distance traveled. Besides, I have a lot of appreciation for you guys who do some of the most toughest terrains on 150-250cc bikes. Thats an achievement in itself you should be proud of.

                      Ride safe.

You said it! Ladakh indeed is ruggedly beautiful. And it's so true that spirit of riding is the most important.
