On Friday night we went to IMAX to watch "The Dark Knight Rises". Man! What a theatre it is! The screen size is atleast thrice bigger than the normal ones! Where ever you see there is only the screen. You actually have to roll your eyes to cover the entire expanse! 250 bucks was totally worth it. I am sure if it was in Bangalore nothing less than 500 would be the price. I dont know if it was the place I stayed and roamed about but 95% of the cars I saw on road costs atleast 60 lakhs on road! So many BMW, Audi, Rolls Royce, Merc, Volvo, Jag, Lamby, Land Rover and what not! Sigh! The entire place was like built in some hills or something. There were hardly any flat roads for even 200 meters. This may be in the areas where I roamed around too. I totally hated the traffic there. I mean do they even know how to ride? No body crosses 40 or cuts or honks or jumps a signal or stops on the zebra crossing. This includes the buses, autos and cabbies! Believe me or not people were walking on the foot path and two wheelers were on the road! Shouldn't it be vice versa?
Maybe they should take some lessons from Bangalore!Anyways, later I visited the Hussain Sagar lake and did a round of it twice
and finally the Birla Mandir. Sunday morning we started relaxed by around 6 and returned home by evening 6. We were riding considerably slower this time. Met a few biking groups and individual riders on the way. Over all the route was plain boring with hardly any place you can take cover when it rains and the frequency of petrol bunks and eateries is very very less. One good thing is that the bus stops are fantastic to take a break. I was wearing my bag and because of so much of wind, my shoulders started paining. Need to get a saddle bag soon. It was raining on and off for the entire 3 days. So couldn't take many pictures. Here are some.
At the beginning of the ride

Somewhere on the road with 300 KM to Hyd

This is from where the guy attended his meeting

The legendary Optimus!

Hussain Sagar Lake

Some where on the highway amidst 100s of acres of black soil with some plantation. No clue what was sown.

And finally the lord of the streets!
