I recently bought my first bike, although I'm new at this and it will probably take me years to get to you guys' stage, there are a couple of questions always nagging me

How do you guys get so much free time? as in 30 days, 40 days? how? how!!
And where do guys stop for rest(rest as in proper sleep??) 'generally'? I mean while crossing certain states which are just part of journey, where do you make accommodation?
thanks man !!... its not about years ...all you need is little determination for any ride...the toughest part of a trip is getting out of your bed and sitting on your bike ,the remaining journey is cakewalk

i told a little about myself in beginning... anyway i got few months before i could join a ship so i did this ride...otherwise weekends are enough for 600-800kms rides ..

the first priority during any ride is covering the target distance on time...from Bangalore-chandigarh i slept for 2-4 hours at petrol bunks, stayed with friends , highway dhabas .
jammu-nagpur i had got accommodation arrangements done in army mess

                              day 14..

some distance after we crossed zozila pass i heard some hissing noise from arun's rear tyre and we found it was punture...it happended at a spot where we could'nt see any shop/house just mountains and the cold winds had already frozen us underneath all that riding gear..

somehow after we repaired the punture and were set to move, vijay found arun's accelerator cable was also gone.

somehow we managed to tie it near the RVM and it worked..

we started from that spot and at some distance there was an army camp.

we had a discussion and then i went there to try for any sort of accomadation.(luckily i had a new dependent card with me )

the soldiers heard the whole story and then after verififyin the details , we were let in. we also had dinner in the langar...

                              DAY 15TH

our bikes standing next to the hut where we slept...

some bikers stopped on the way to help arun, but nothing worked

                              A SCHOOL

                              myself*%...guess which is real
