Cant believe you took all these pics with just a Nokia 500 5mp cam
Can only wonder what would happen if u were to carry say a Digital Camera ..
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Oops! Sorry for the confusion bro!
I guess you were referring to both the logs.
Actually, the first ride pics were from my Nokia and in the last one, I used a Sony Digicam.
      Updated the details.
The limiter kicks in @11,500 rpm just within a second after the first shift..And, that's where the fun begins !! ;)

                            Destination: Sirumalai, Dindigul, Tamilnadu.
Map: Iyyampalayam, Tamil Nadu to Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu - Google Maps

There is a gap in the road map to the end point where I went in Google maps. So, am unable to mark the exact destination.
Once you open and zoom in Destnation 'C'., you can follow the road till it ends in an unknown bus-stop.

Sirumalai (Meaning - Small Hill) is not how the name goes.
A largely unexplored and un-exploited hill under TN reserve forest cover.
I had no idea of what is up there and what to expect. I was at my native and had to be at my home by evening. Had a full day in hand and thought, why to waste it by just reaching home., after-all its Diwali.!
So, a bikers way of celebration., a new destination. Here's a couple of pics before the whole story gets written.

                              3. Unexplored

                              11.11.2012.
A couple of days before diwali and I wanted to ride out.
Opened Google maps and started to search for a destination and found a village atop a small hill bordering Madurai and Dindigul, called Sirumalai.
Its a relatively small chain of hills, but at large unexplored and unexploited. The village is famous for Mounatain Bananas. Was able to see banana plantations at distance. A total of 18 Hairpin bends and a view point just before Sirumalai. There are 3 villages over the hilltop, beyond the last, a 15 mins offroad trail leads to a temple of Lord Shiva. Nothing much to visit.
But an awesome silent traffic less smooth hill roads to ride to. Photos to follow.

                              My usual shot.

                              Before the forest check post.

Just after the check post, the climb starts.

                              Time for a break.

                              First Hairpin

All the hairpins and bends are open to the valley and were with less or nil protectors.

                              Into a canopy.

                              Hoverin' clouds.

                              Well laid roads.

                              Altitude @Sirumalai.

                              From the View tower.

                              Downhill

Video from the View Tower @Sirumalai.
