Had our lunch at Suryapet around 2:30 pm and started back to Hyderabad around 3:30 pm. Reached Hyderabad around 7:00 pm, dropped Amar at this house at Habsiguda and reached my home by 8:00 pm. I got freshened up, had dinner and retired to bed with lot of trip memories.

There was a proud feeling within myself - RIDER.

Total distance covered throughout the trip: 2100 km.

Ending my first trip photo log on xBhp.

Beautiful pictures and very nice log. I am surprised to see very few photos of Vijayanagaram-Araku-Vizag route. And congrats for successfully completing the long ride.

Most of the relatives and friends around us discourage us going on bikes initially. Once you start riding frequently, they stop complaining. It generally happens.

                  Thanks Ravi!!!

People may consider me insane...route to Araku didnot excite me after riding Donkarayi - Sileru - Chintapalle route...Araku was over crowded as 31st Dec was looming in then where as Sileru was calm and the environment was awesome...

I choose this route after going through your thread...

                    Re: Day 4 (27th Dec 2012) - Srikakulam.

Nice one captain. The new TB is a much better and a well defined product by RE. One suggestion for you. Try to get panniers or saddle bags for your self. Looking at the luggage hanging from your bike, it can be dangerous in tricky situations.

Thanks Dude...even i was spell bound after seeing such an awesome locations...for some time i felt that i was in some foreign land....many places in India lack promotion and even security is a major concern at these places...

But to be frank there is a lot of fun exploring the unexplored places rather than visiting some famous tourist locations!!!...

Congratulations and best wishes, @[email protected], on successful completion of a wonderful journey in a new Thunderbird. Excellent photographs. While your Thunderbird visited Yanam, my Thunderbird rode to its capital Pondicherry!

Since your Thunderbird had the second service at Srikakulam, what was the speed you maintained and how many km covered between two breaks?

Good interesting route isn't it. You must have got a lot confidence after riding. Biking is safer when done responsibly , that's against the popular perception so people keep discouraging.
Hope to see more rides from you. Were you stopped for checking enroute Jangaon-Yellandu or Bhadrachalam-Sileru.

Thanks buddy...By the time i reached Srikakulam my speedometer was clocking 2000 Kms...Through out the journey i haven't throttled beyond 100 Kmph and avg speed was approximately 60-70 kmph. I was not interested in rushing rather i was interested in enjoying the nature.

Yes it was a very interesting and awesome route. This ride gave me a lot of confidence and even my perception about biking got changed completely. Never thought that one could enjoy riding through the nature to such an extent. Yes you will find more rides from me soon, i was just waiting for the scorching summer to calm down.

Because of that popular wrong perception about bikers/biking, even people at my home also keep discouraging me. But i have found my own ways to convenience them .

                              I wasn't stopped for checking enroute Jangaon-Yellandu or Bhadrachalam-Sileru.
