This is my 5th year in Mahrashtra and even after travelling extensively I feel that I haven't covered 10% of what this state has to offer
This will be a photolog with description given for each picture. The pictures are clicked during various rides in the past 3 months. Will keep on adding pictures as and when I process the other pictures that I have
I should be roughly posting 120 pictures from this season and unlike my other Tourer section thread I will complete this thread in the next 20days
Riding on top of the world. This picture is clicked while going towards Panhala, a hill station through a off-beaten path
Middle of the forest, no one in the vicinity and probably a road which no one uses = True exploration
This is somewhere near the Maharashtra border bordering Goa and Karnataka

Finding peace and solitude away from the city.
This place is clicked near Tilari reserve which is known to only a handful people

A beautiful sunset by the Tapola Lake
Tapola Lake, Near Mahabaleswar, Maharashtra

Orange says - I love these stops when I feel a part of the nature
The lake in the backdrop is called Urmodi, near Kaas Plateau

Even a small food joint brings a lot of relief once you are riding through unexplored roads with no traffic or food for hours
This is clicked on SH130 joining Sawantwadi and Dodmarg in Maharashtra on a very foggy day and no we didn't rode on this state highway, we surfaced here from the unexplored
The name of the place is Tilari Nagar.

Not sure which way to take!
Till the time I don't have a Go Pro an umbrella will always come for rescue so that I don't miss that important moment

Some random wet village in the interior of Maharashtra

With monsoon almost over, this is the bloom time in Maharashtra
Kaas is valley of flower which offlate have become very popular but there are many other places like this where you can enjoy the bloom. The name of this place is Medha

Natures own garden. A splendid of the fields and Pawna Lake in the horizon from Lohagad vilage
Lohagad is famous for its fort and is very near to Lonavla

I haven't made an exact count but the number of prominent dams and lakes in Maharashtra will be more than 100, and a great Monsoon means all the dams are full
This is Pawna Dam just 40km from Pune in its full glory

. More pictures please...
