Love this picture. Brings back memories of travelling in the locals for 3 years in BombayOriginally posted by MG View Post
Golden Light
This is an closed railway crossing for vehicular movement just beside the Mumbai - Pune expressway near Kamshet where a bike can just sneak in. Light is generally amazing in the evening by the end of Monsoon

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

I love local trains more than the express trains as they are more open and hence you feel yourself more close to the natureOriginally posted by The Monk View PostLove this picture. Brings back memories of travelling in the locals for 3 years in Bombay

Re: Monsoon in Maharashtra - 2013 series
Set 3
Feeling one with the nature
View of Shivaji Sagar Lake from Bamnoli, Maharashtra

Striking a pose
Chalkewadi near Satara is popular for its windmill farm which is largest in Asia but this is not Chalkewadi! This is around 50km from Chalkewadi near Pali probably the extension of Chalkewadi over the years
And yes no one knows about this place

Riding through Ponda ghat
Ponda ghat is on way to Kolhapur from Kankavli

Riding through fog, mist and rain
At Warandha Ghat

Just after a heavy shower
View of Tilari reservoir from SH130

Nature's own garden

The textured Sahyadri

The high tide in the sea

Sunset on way to Tapola Lake

Even the regular fields looks so beautiful in this season

The land of wheel spins for the 390
This is a very difficult section on way to Raireswar fort

Re: Monsoon in Maharashtra - 2013 series
While there is little doubt that Maharashtra during Monsoon is amazing, but honestly I think the pictures are better to look at than the real thing!! Sing praises of the optics or the editing software or the skill of the photographer
