Disclaimer - No pandals/puja pics in this TLog! The ride happened on Vijaya dashmi. 
Prologue:
Udy [MENTION=48174]chaosaddict[/MENTION]) calls me on Wednesday and we have the following convo:
Udy - Bhai meri GF bolti hai ki I don't give her time. Plz suggest some nice place for a 1 day ride. Might extend to 2 days too.
Me - *Usual stuff like Nandi/Malls/Film city etc*
Udy - Nahi bhai, she wants to get out of city's chaos!
Me - *Yercaud/Coorg etc.*
Udy - Mere bike pe itna distance ho payega?
Me - Mysore chala jaa!

Fast forward to Friday. I call him and tell him that I'd be going to Ranganthittu bird sanctuary in Srirangapatna (10 km from Mysore). He said he would tag along + 1.
I was happy that I'd be going alone since my devil had planned to go to Wonderla (water amusement park) with her friends. Damn, she dropped out and tagged along with me! :'(

Our meeting point was Global Village, Mysore Road (6 AM)
Udy reached there by 6:15.
While we were waiting.
My BMW styled bike.
Udy tanked up and we proceeded with an understanding to halt as many times as possible. No, not for clicking pics, but because my pollion and Mr [MENTION=48174]chaosaddict[/MENTION] love sleeping when on a bike.
We took breakfast at a roadside hotel when we saw/heard 2 R1's and a Busa fly past us. That gave us the needed enthu for the ride.
With a few more chai breaks, we reached Ranganthittu bird sanctuary.
Enough clicking on land.... Time for boating in crocodile infested waters.
This pic went bad somehow.
Hmm, so we had pretty much wrapped up whatever we could see in the sanctuary by now. Udy was feeling sleepy.
Time to just roam around.
After spending some time here, we thought of having lunch and then visiting Tipu Sultan's Summer palace.
On the way.
Reached Tipu's palace and it was a hot afternoon. Found a tree ASAP and took shelter.
Some lazy timepass and creativity.
Wish I could make this true!
Took quite a good amount of rest before we head back home.
Stopped at Rasta Cafe where Udy had tea for 60 rupees.
Final shot before heading back home.
Lastly, one pic of mine (courtesy [MENTION=48174]chaosaddict[/MENTION]) to say that I was there too. --- this was taken in the sanctuary.
I hope the ladies won't complain for (some)time now. Till then... Peace.
