This ride happened last year in August 2013.Thought of sharing with you guys.
Will be short and crisp.
I call this the Monsoon ride because a) It was during the Monsoons b) Not a single day passed by where i wasn't drenched and c) It was raining(quite obvious i guess:-P)
I started on this journey a day behind my schedule, coz I had to meet someone important and so it began on the 10th of August 2013. I couldn't sleep properly the night before and was again woken by an email by one of my friend. Not that I was uninterested in the trip, but i do love to sleep late in the holidays.
Some things cant be helped ;-).
This T-log will be more of pictures a) I go by old adage, u know what
!! and b) I am a lazy bum 
Here goes the pics of Day 1 and 2:
Day 1:

Enroute Shimoga near Tavarkere
My Steed!
Not much pics of Day 1 as I was already running late for Agumbe. Decided to stay at Tirthahalli and bouy oh bouy!! Had a blast of ride between Shimoga and Tirthahalli. The only thing that I could hear in that pitch dark jungle was my breath(exaggeration intended
).
Day 2:
Decided to head to Agumbe
Near Barkana falls
Rain-drain!!
The route to Barkana falls was drained out due to heavy rain(Normal to the people of Agumbe).
Returned back and started to Jogigundi.
Rain started heavily, as I start to shoot!!
A word of caution! If you are heading to Agumbe, Do have protection to the camera Lenses and Eyes.
Your camera as well your eyes would burn in the typical rain forests environment.
My DSLR stopped working after this(I had to dry out my lense for the next few days
)

Steps leading to jogigundi
Jogigundi
Anything in large quantity is harmful, so was the rain.
Headed to tirthahalli, packed my bag and left for Jog.
Went to Jog. Saw the mad rush of long weekend and the long stares of people around.
Headed towards Gokarna and reached the world famous Namaste Cafe at 9 pm
Here too had some good long stares at me
.
Went calmly to my room and satiated myself to the brim.

and I can see you have made justice to the season as well. Do pour in more pictures and let us know about any other places you have visited. I may as well plan something this year, having inspired by you
