Bangalore Stay ( Day - 6)

We spent our 6th day as a rest day in Banagalore , got up late. Then we went out for brunch to meet my friend Dempsy again. While we narrated our Bhadra experience , he recalled that he had a similar experience on the same route that we had taken. In his case things went worse and he had to stay back in the Tiger Reserve over night waiting for help. :-o

Also got to know from Dempsy , that BIKES ARE NOT ALLOWED on the route we had taken into the Bhadra Tiger Reserve.
Sadly there was no one to guide us at the right spot. Even the guards inside the forest check-post said nothing about it. Also I think the Jeep Driver was trying to say the same , but i could not understand and was to scared to stop.

His experience gave us goosebumps. We had an awsome time sharing our riding experiences and having very tasty food (Mutton & Lacha Paratha)

That day , did nothing , just took rest & in the evening went out for a yummy dinner at a near-by restaurant.

In the night , packed our saddles and kept everything ready for next day's ride.

Bangalore - Nandi hills - Home Sweet home[Hyderabad] (Day - 7)


We got up early around 5 am and got ready. My sister and brother-in-law too were ready. We left for Nandi hills , which was supposed to be a 72 kms ride. most of the part though NICE read and Outer ring road. Soon we were at the Nandi Hills Junction. We took a left turn ... and it was a 2 lane road , beautiful scenery all around , huge amounts of fog. The weather was Chilling.

Then started the hairpins of Nandi hills , and as usual we started enjoying the corners like crazy. Within no time we reached the top.

We parked our bikes and started to trek towards the top. Soon head a noise , turned back to see monkeys attacking our bikes , saddle bags etc. We were shocked , Tried to shoo thm off , but the monkeys were way too aggressive and we were scared .

Unwantedly , had to use our self defense weapon "Pepper Spray" . .. Poor monkeys , just one spray scared the sh*t out of the whole gang and they left. On a safer part , we unloaded our bags from the bikes and left them at the guard's office room.

The trek was beautiful , with very less visibility , it was too foggy. But we had a really awsome time.

After an hour we came back , loaded the bags again , and were again attacked by the monkey gang. Had to use self defense again.

Then we rode back down the hill and had breakfast at a small restaurant.

Going back home


At the Nandi hill junction , we parted from my sister & brother -in - law. They rode towards Bangalore and we rode back towards Hyderabad. The last 570 kms were those long straight Super Express highways ... huge wind blasting all through the way.

We reached home at around 8:30 pm.

And amazing adventurous trip came to and end covering over 2731 kms over the last 7 Days. ​
