We were up early, and thanks to Harsha's (@Harshavardhan N Padaki) extended stay in you know where , we headed out well after sun rise. First in the list was Mattupetty dam and it was close by.

The roads were amazing and we had fun leaning in all the amazing corners.

We were headed to Top station next and the climate changed all of a sudden!! There was mist everywhere and what was kind of hot, turned instant cold.. Top station turned out to be more of a white washed station. We couldnt see a thing in the mist and all the walk down and back up ended with nothing, but hunger which made us gobble lot of food.

On the way back, we were stuck in traffic!! Good that we headed early, all the munnar crowd was in the road to visit these attractions, and what was to be a stop to buy fresh carrots turned out to be an interesting conversation with the shop guy. I was enquiring about other routes places to visit which are not plagued by tourists and he gladly pointed at the mountains on the other side of the road. He also mentioned that there were no people, which we should have read as - NO .. NOT EVEN A PERSON TO HELP YOU WHEN IN NEED!!

We headed out in that direction and boy, that was the best decision of the day!!

We reached the gates of Silent Valley tea estate. After a lucky discussion with the manager, we were let in and the gate keeper mentioned about a waterfall. We went ahead looking for a waterfall, just to come across a tank bund with a 2 feet long falling water!! And upon further enquiry, we found the waterfall, its in the third pic below

We were done for the day, and after lot of missed roads, we found one bakra who wanted a drop somewhere on the way to Munnar. With his help, we reached back and called it a day. The next day we were to head out and I had plans of going to Idukki and take the Cumbum route back. Small section to come before I end the log

            Cheers

The ride back was decided via Idukki as we had plans for Anchurli and Kalvari mount. Below are the last set of pics from the ride
