hey anup good to c you touring your native place. The stretch of nh-47 between palakkad and coimbatore is really bad, good its better in other partsThe highways of kerala are quite good because they use rubber along with asphalt and rubber is abudantly available , but equally dangerous to drive with schumachers and alonsos driving.Accept in this case they drive tatas and ashok leylands and not ferraris

No man no luck this time..she ditched me for a training programme...i was all alone... although at all the places i had either my relatives or i did go out to make friends...so it was not alone always..

@mithun: You bet Kerala is damn beautiful, however it wasnt as green as i thought it would be...

@meisrossi: I thought calling you for the ride but then i thought i would be spending time with my relatives an all and you would get miffed..hence choose to opt for solo..Sorry dude

@Darknight: Thanks man, my cousin manages to get birds from all over...there was a talking parrot also, it was caged and i couldnt get a good photo of it, i have one...

                                Trip Log Continues......

Continuing with my day with my cousin brother i did plan to take his advice and follow a plan...now the thing is that Kerala has some diversity in climate in short distances...Kerala all said an done is very close to the Equator making it a very hot place, however there are some climatic relief on the eastern part of kerala which are located a bit above sea level...

Perimed was my next step in completing the 2 leg of my ride. (Now such an unusual place)..i guess most of em might not have heard of this place although many people might have passed through it while going to Tekadi or Munnar

I have my Grandmothers sister put up there with their Big Family, so i choose to save some money there.....

Hotels in Kerala are expensive and i choose not to stay in a HotelPerimedu

Hey but I must say that they were so nice to me, I got pampered so much they fulfilled all my desire of Kerala delicacy. (Pal Appam, Mota curry), (Tapioca and beef fry), (Fish Curry and loads of Kerala rice); what else do u want in life..

                                Summary of this short ride

Total distance covered 110 kms approx
Perimedu is approx 1309 above sea level and hence Weather is very pleasant and light showers during the afternoons or evenings
                                Roads: Beautiful as usual

Pictures from the ride towards Perimedu
