  • Video - Roadtrip through Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh

    Hi Folks,

This is a short video that captures some of the sights from a trip we did in October 2016. We were fortunate enough to cover many places in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.

This was spread over 2 weeks. We hired an Innova and an RE Classic 350 from Awe Rides in Guwahati.

From the marshes and rhinos of Kaziranga, the island wonder that is Majuli and its traditional food experiences, the challenge that is to get an Innova up the BumLa Pass to see the Indo-China border, to that strange experience of touching the Bangladesh border at Tamabil while on foot.
Being part of the Tawang festival, the hospitality of friends (Yashaya Kharma and Loy Lossel), those long winding hill roads where you are above the clouds and still one with the Yaks, seeing for yourself why Cherrapunji is the wettest place on Earth. These are images that we will long cherish.

And just like the song says, Nada Nada (walk on to your next destination), hope more of us get to see these beautiful places across our country.
