            Day 1: Avadi(Chennai) to Bellary(Karnataka)

Started off from Avadi and filled the tanks and our stomach. After reaching somewhere after Tirupati(Andra Pradesh) we noticed a flat tire in Thunderbird. Finally found a mechanic and the tragedy is that it is a rear one and they have no idea about a rear tyre with disc brake. We our self got some ideas from youtube videos and somehow removed the tyre, the critical part is refitting it and adjusting the brake, Thanks to Vivek he got up with some ideas and we somehow sorted it out. Had our lunch there and started again

The roads are in mixed condition, Tarmac for some distance and rough roads mixed with rolling stones for some kms. Roads surrounded with quarry for some kms and forest for some kms. Atlast reached Bellary by 10 - 10:30pm and started hunting for room, after 30 mins found a decent lodge which costs 600 per night.

            Day 2: Bellary to Hampi

Waked up the next morning early as there was a function in a temple which is adjacent to our room. Packed our bags and started from Bellary by 9am and had breakfast in a small hotel which is next to our room. There was industries and factories all the way to Hampi, and the roads are patchy as it was a industrial area.

Day 3: Anantapur - Belum Caves - Gandikota - Avadi

Started off to Belum Caves with excitement, googled the cave and the pictures were amazing, Ignited our Enfields with expectation and started from Anantapur to Belum Caves.

Reached Belum Caves within 2 hours and got the entry pass.

It was super hot inside the caves as there is no ventilation, the cave has been lighted up with artificial yellow lighting which makes the cave look fascinating. The cave is extremely huge as you can even get lost there. There are air pipes at some junctions inside the cave to get some air as we are all soaked in sweat.

Got out and had our lunch at a hotel near the cave and started off to Gandikota.

The Entrance of Gandikota is stupendous as it itself is a fort, we have to enter the big walls to enter into the village, there are no pass or token we are free to roam anywhere, it seems to be a small village and there are only few who live there and we saw only one bus on our way to Gandikota.

Once we cross the village which is just few meters we can see a Masjid, Thats where we parked our Enfields as there is no way our bike could enter from there, Its very easy to tell that you are near the canyon as you can see uneven red rocks all your way up. And yes we are where we have to be. The grand canyon of India. Seriously one has to stand there to experience the feel as pictures cant convey the actual beauty of Gandikota.

Families will stop near the canyon and some couples and youngsters will try rock climbing to climb the top and witness the Beauty and take cool picture from the top and we are no exception.

It Became dark and we are already getting late hence skipped climbing the fort and left the place. Everyone has office the next day so we rushed to Avadi. Stopped near kadappa for dinner and had Parotta and Chicken curry in a dhaba. Reached Avadi by 11:30pm and everybody said good bye and good night. Trust me it is one hell of a ride.

                      Untill Next time.
