Day 6
We woke up late, owing to our adventures (Read misadventures) of yesterday. We left the bed by 08:30AM (Not willingly, under threat from our friend Dutta). Still, we took one more hour to get ready and our breakfast of 2 toast and some jam. By 10:00AM, we left the tent house and moved forward, praying to god, not to continue yesterday’s affairs. Roads were of mixed conditions. We entered Kashmir by 11:45AM, and we were somewhat doubtful of reaching Leh same day, as the road conditions was not that great. We took so many watering breaks and halted at Pang for our lunch. We were there by 01:45PM. Had something to eat and re-hydrated ourselves. Now we inquired the road conditions and we were pretty delighted when we came to know that roads are in grate conditions from Pang to Leh. From pang, we changed our gears, and increased our speed. It felt nice again to ride on beautiful windy roads. We were in Leh by 06:45PM. Looked for a hotel, parked our bikes, checked in and went directly to our rooms. Overall this was nice day for us. After some rest, we went to check the local market and we were delighted. We were also happy because tomorrow was our rest day, so no complaints from our backsides too. Came back from market, had dinner and went to sleep.
